We bought the Vivofit jr 3 for our 5 year old daughter to help her complete tasks on schedule by setting alarms and timers. She loves Ariel, so that's a plus.

Perfect for my 5 year old

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] as others havw said, the screen is quite dim. my kids dont mind very much. they enjoy wearing them.  we havent taken full advantage of all the aspects of the app yet. its slightly confusing but maybe we just haven't given it enough time

My son loves his watch! It looks nice and he enjoys all the features. Only minor issue is that the display could be brighter.

Good Watch for Youngsters

My daughter loves this watch and I feel it is a great starter watch.

Great features

I bought this watch for my child for Christmas who is 9. They overall enjoy the watch but unfortunately the app is not compatible with their amazon fire tablet. Additionally you have to press the side button on the watch while the app is open to sync the data. This is complicated for parental use and my child gets upset having to wait for the watch to sync. I would recommend this watch for younger children but want to advise that in order to play the marvel games they would need to know how to read.

Fun concept

I have had now 3 of the Garmin Fenix line of watches, so I do realize that I'm biased towards Garmin but also the high-end watches. I got this for my son so he could "be like dad" but it's been very underwhelming. The screen is VERY small, no touch, one button. it's a very easy to navigate device... because it doesn't have any features at all. I had hoped for a little bit smarter watch coming from Garmin. I am disappointed though that this is our 3rd of this watch. Each year, about the same time, the battery dies... sure, expected. However, even with brand new batteries the watch never revives. We've had to replace it several times. At this point too, his original Star Wars watch has been unavailable and he had to go with Marvel. He was very, very sad.

So. would I buy it again? no. 
I would consider doing a smaller size of the "fruit brand" since it has a lot more features and a refurb costs roughly the same.

Meh. that's all I can say

This is extremely basic, almost impossible to see, and if I have the opportunity to do this again, I will buy the bounce.

I was ready to return it!

We bought with the intent of tracking our daughter's sleep quality and were thoroughly disappointed. Same night sleep on the same person showed 6h 5m sleep in Fitbit (accurate) and 7h 41m sleep in Garmin (highly inaccurate)…
