Simple application process with clear instructions.

I've looked for years to find just the right color of red I wanted. I was a little worried because my hair has recently been bleached blond but I t came out completely fantastic. will definitely be buying this as my go to from now on. and on a major plus side it smells wonderful and conditioner works really well.

wonderful

walmart.com

I really like the B4 Caramel Chocolate shade because it gives brown hair a warmer look without going all the way into a super-light color. The caramel tones add some dimension, so the finished color doesn't look flat or overly dark.

The cream formula is also easy to work with during application. I appreciate that it doesn't have that extremely runny consistency some box dyes can have. The kit includes the color, developer, nourishing oil treatment, conditioner, and gloves, so everything needed for the coloring process is together in one box.

The conditioning treatment is a nice bonus, too. Nutrisse uses nourishing oils including avocado, olive, coconut, argan, and shea, and the after-color conditioner leaves the hair feeling soft and cared for after coloring.

B4 is specifically designed for darker natural hair and gives it those warm caramel and golden-brown reflects. It's a pretty shade if you want to warm up brunette hair without choosing something dramatically different.

If you're looking for a rich brown with noticeable caramel warmth, this is a beautiful option. Just make sure your starting hair color is compatible with the shade, since results can vary depending on whether your hair is natural or already color-treated.

This is such a gentle, pretty shade

Belle caramel-chocolate color. Makes a nice effect on my brown hair. On top of the hair, it's paler than on the box. It always depends on each person’s hair. But I’ve been using Garnier colors for several years and I’m usually happy with the results. It was the first time I tried the caramel-chocolate color and I am happy with the result. I'll probably buy more. I recommend this product.

Belle Hair Coloring Garnier Nutrisse

I got the shade “Dark Intense Violet” and was expecting more of a purple or deeper color, it ended up looking reddish/fuschia but it's pretty :) My hair was lighter before but I needed 2 boxes and started with my roots, which is maybe why they seem to be more brownish-red than the ends. It's been 3-4 washes now, it holds up well and hasn't stained any of my pillows or anything.

Not what I meant to do, but pretty and vibrant

This dye is hardly ever violet the bottle never turns violet it stays red. Do yeah my hair is reddish but a color you probably couldn't get anywhere else on darker hair.

Colors take but they may not be whats on the box

Not overly impressed with this product, surprisingly. Usually have had great experience in the past with this brand, but this time it just didn't really seem to do much of anything in my opinion.. I wasn't trying to do anything other than refresh the color and cover roots with same color and it barely did it!

Disappointed for sure

This Garnier Nutrisse semi-permanent hair color did not work for me. The color wasn't that rich when I finished applying it. Two days later, flat and faded. Then I washed it. Now, 3 weeks later it looks like it stripped my naturally dark brown hair and I have washout orange hair. I found the scent of the conditioner to be offensive.

Faded after 2 days

You'd think with all the bad reviews they'd change the formula or get rid of the color.. I had high hopes that it would come out the color but it's not even purple. It's pink/red and not at ALL what I wanted. If I wanted red I would have gotten red..

WARNING NOT PURPLE AT ALL!

Garnierusa.com

I dyed my hair today with this product, B4 that I purchased in May 2025. I noticed it became very thick in the bottle after mixing it. I had to shake it several times to get it to come out. Maybe that was my warning that something was wrong. I put it on my hair and left it on 30 minutes. After rinsing it out, I noticed it barely colored my hair, and the gray was still showing. Kind of a dull color on my hair. I looked for an expiration date, but I didn't see one, only 70Z100.

Didn't Color my Hair

Did not work at all for my hair. The dye only lasted two washes and my hair was back to blonde. Never again buying this dye if I could return I would.

Garnier Nutrisse Ultra Color permanent hair dye in shade 421 Acai Berry, offering vibrant purple hair color lasting up to 8 weeks even on dark hair, enriched with nourishing fruit oils like avocado and shea for soft, shiny hair.
