[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] just used this as a leave in for my frizzy, curly, wavy hair. I have thin strands, but it's long, to my waist, and although it was a sample amount there was enough to coat most of my hair as I don't usually condition my roots due to scalp issues. I read the package and for some reason my brain didn't get what the scent would be. As in, it said ginger, and I thought "fresh ginger", but it smelled delicious! Spicy, warm, but not cloying or artificial. I have my hair plopped right now and I can smell it faintly from there and slightly on my hands as well. As a curly, it had decent slip but with the amount of product provided, not really enough to be great. Honestly, looking at the size of the retail tube, I'd probably end up using 1/3 to 1/2 to adequately coat my strands. 
We will see how well it works and even if it isn't a miracle product, I'll buy it again for the smell alone.

LOVE a ginger moment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Garnier Whole Blends Ginger Recovery Treatment left my hair feeling soft and looking shiny without leaving a greasy, oily build-up feeling. It left my hair tangle free. What I really loved is the clean, fresh, herbal, sweet smell of ginger. In comparison to other products, my needs were met. I would definitely buy and recommend it to others.

I'm in love with the aroma!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried using this product as a leave in product as well as a conditioning treatment and rinsing out. When I left it in, it made my hair look dirty and oily. I tried this way several times with different amounts of product. I also let it sit on my hair for about 10 minutes after shampooing before rinsing out and that was much better. It made my hair feel soft and healthy. I would continue using but only with rinsing out after applying.

Definitely recommend rinsing out

This smelled sooooo good!! But the next day the smell went away. Also, after using it really made my hair greasy and heavy but soft. The smell stayed on my hands for a few hours even after washing. Dont use it as a leave in. It is reallyyy good as a rinse out though.

I find it difficult to find a moisturizing conditioner that doesn't weigh my hair down but provides adequate moisture & shine. This product did make my hair feel healthy both as a leave-in and rinsed but it made my hair droopy. If I had really thick, coarse hair, I think it would have been beneficial. The smell was awesome, though!

This is just the conditioner in a tube.  Do not leave in, always rinse out.  Makes hair look dull.
