Love this low calorie, low fat real butter.

Great taste

Gay Lea Foods Light Spreadables Butter does not disappoint at all. I love butter, however not the amount of fat it has in it. I tried the Gay lea Light Spreadables Butter and it gave me the satisfaction of real butter with way less fat. I had it with toast and bagels and it for sure satisfied my craving for real butter. I will for sure purchase this product agin in the future.

Creamy and buttery just like the real thing

The thing I hate the most with butter is having to spread had cold butter. I just can't stand that so when I saw this product I was more Han happy to try it! I like how you can leave it in the fridge and know you'll be able to spread it. It's still a bit harder than butter left on the counter but a very convenient product. It tasted great on my toast!

Great product

Love this product! So easy to use right out of the fridge. Very tasty. Was used for breakfast on my crumpets, bagels and toast, also used on mashed potatoes and was delish. Nice container. Would be suitable for anyone. Not a bad price either. Found no cons with the product. Purchased the light and even though it has less fat it still tasted great. Not too salty either. Received product for testing purposes.

Love the spreadability!

Needs to be refrigerated. Leave out for 5 mins before using and it's good to go!

Mostly spreadable

I got gay lea light spreadable butter and was pleasantly surprised by how easy it is to spread. The butter tasted equally good without loosing any of its original taste. I got the butter for around $3.5 which I feel was reasonable comparable to other butters. Overall really happy with the purchase and would definately recommend in future.

Easy to spread butter

I chose the Gay Lea Light Spreadables Butter and I love how it slides on easily on breads and waffles! Its texture is just right. Its taste is even better, creamy and airy, with just the right balance of saltiness. I love that it comes in two variants, Regular and Light, and gives people that option to choose which will best fit their lifestyles.

Light and airy, great balance!

[Employee of walmartcanada] I tried the gay lea spreadables for my family morning breakfast and was not impressed with the results. When first taking the spreadables out of the fridge and putting it on my toast it did not spread well and tore the bread apart. After it was out for a little bit it spread nicely but once it was out longer than that oil seemed to start to come to the top. The spreadable had a good flavour it would just take some getting use to as to when to take it out.

Spreadable vs unspreadable

After trying the Gay Lea spreadable butter (light version), I wasn't too impressed. It is not that spreadable ! When I tried to spread it on hotdog buns, it actually broke a bit of the bun... It is kind of expensive for the price too. I will most likely just stick to margarine. The idea is there if only it did spread...
