Your feet are protected because these boots comply with the astm f2413-05 electrical hazard standard, and the steel toe is able to withstand up to 75 lbs. Of impact and compression because it has met the astm i/75 c/75 protective toe classification. These men's work boots definitely keep your feet dry as you move through rain, mud or puddles. The footwear has been assembled with the Georgia waterproof system; this creates a watertight structure that keeps your feet and the interior 100 percent dry. Durability

We purchased these boots for our son who is a welder. He is working right now in Maryland on a water pipe project. It rains a lot there so there's lots of mud, he has only had great things to say about these boots. They keep his feet dry and sturdy. They have great traction and protect his feet well.

Being in construction & standing all day you need great comfortable boots that work with you. I've had all kinda name brand work boots throughout my 40 years in the businessn this is my 2nd pair of Georgia lace up boots that i am very pleased with & Lord willing it won't be my last. Thanks Georgia Boot company for outstanding work gear.

Comfortable boots

There isn't a safety tow booth on the market that is more comfortable, good looking than this one. Yeah people love the moccasin toe, not I. I'm a round toe feller. These things are so comfortable. I almost took them to Europe on vacation as my only shoe because I can consistently walk over 12 hours a day on the job site.  

Note, you do have to break these in. They hurt your feet for the first couple miles. Once they're broken in, you could wear them to bed

Comfort, looks, and protection

I buy a new pair of boots every year for work and I will never buy nothing but this style of Georgia boot it's awesome can't say nothing badd about it I give it 5 stars every time

Best boots EVER

I had resisted wearing a pair of tie up wedge boots for years, but the pain I started getting in my lower back and in my ankles forced that to change. I'm a fan of the Thorogood wedge boots, but not the price of entry. I've worn Ariat for years but none of their wedge boots ever appealed to me. I do a lot of walking and standing on concrete. I purchased the 8” steel toe version and have been very impressed. There were a handful of rough days of rubbing on my heels, but they have been perfect since then. My back hurts less and my ankles feel less achy. I'll be curious to see how the sole holds up to abuse, but so far you can color me impressed. I may look to purchase the moc toe version when these wear out. But I am liking these so far!

First Time Purchase

This is my second pair from this brand. And once again I'm very satisfied!! By far the most comfortable work boots I've ever owned. I'm telling my co workers that they need to get some Georgia Boots!! They're missing out!! THANK YOU FOR MAKING THESE AMAZING BOOTS!!!

So comfortable

I just bought my 4th pare of Georgia Barracuda Gold steel toe boots. This is the best boot available for someone that prefers their work boots not to have Gortex, Thinsulate, or some other kind of linner that is going to make your feet hot. There are few quality work boots that are made without an linner and an awsome long wearing soft rubber wedge sole and this is one of them. I happen to know the alternative to Georgia boot is grossly over priced and the wedge sole wears out quickly. Georgia Barracuda work boots are like the best pair of leather work gloves you ever had for your feet.

Barracuda Gold Boots are Bad ...

Great boot for the money,good support,soft leather & padded toung,only thing is on my right boot where the toung is sewn together,its kinda irritating and a bit sore,maybe break them in a while longer?

Georgia wedge

Durable and long lasting. I've had a few pair of these. Non insulated works best for me, my feet tent to sweat and these help prevent that. My only complaint would be that they are slippery on ice and I wish the insoles were more cushioned. The leather and boot itself are great though.

These boots work

Nice looking boot. All of my other Georgia boots have been very comfortable right out of the box, but these have an uncomfortable heel. The seem inside the boot where the counter is seen to the uppers is not smooth and rubs my heels. Note:  my other Georgia boots are lined and water proof, these are not.
