The upper of these Georgia flxpoint waterproof composite toe boots is made with full-grain leather. It's a great material to have on work boots because the material has natural strength and durability. Also on the upper is a padded collar for comfort, an extended tongue to keep dirt and debris out of the interior, and the lace-up design allows you to adjust the footwear's fit to your liking. A composite toe is lightweight, but effective when it comes to keeping your toes protected. Due to this safety toe, these boots are compliant with the astm f2413-05 i/75 c/75 protective toe classification, which means that they can withstand up to 75 lbs. Of impact and compression. These work boot also meet the astm electrical hazard standard. The boots are fully lined; when you combine this feature with the Georgia waterproof system and the comfort core® footbed, your feet remain dry and comfortable.

Better Than Expected

Comfortable. Provides very solid footing and ankle support. Great on rocky or “pebbly” slopes. No sliding around like was experiancing.

Great for Texas Hill Country

I was recommended to try Georgia boots and am really glad that I did. Good quality for the price and the waterproofing is holding up nicely.

Comfortable and waterproof

So far they rank up with the best boots I've worn. Comfortable right from the start. Soles tend to pick up gravel, but that's the nature of lugged soles. I'd buy them again.

Good boots!

I finally wore out my blue collar lace-up hikers that had been my trusted boots for work and travel (they served me well all over Scotland, Iceland, Nova Scotia, and Alaska in addition to grueling terrain conditions in south Georgia) and needed a fast and affordable replacement.  I must say I have really taken to these boots as they have answered the call in terms of reliability and comfort.  Just like the blue collar boots, there was no breaking in period and they have kept my feet dry and held their own against slippery and muddy environments.  The only minor thing, and this might just be me, is that the leather has a little more of a reddish tint than it looks in the picture and what I was anticipating.  Not a big deal though as the boot still looks good and performs well!

Great Replacement

I had never owned a pair of Georgia boots but had always worn Rocky boots.  So I thought I'd give them a try and they are comfortable right out of the box.  I didn't even have to break them in, they didn't even bother my feet the first time I wore them.  I will definitely purchase another pair as long as they hold up good working in them.

Very comfortable

This is a great work boot and my second pair! the previous pair lasted over a year! i do hardscape deliveries so they get used hard! the last pair i had a little trouble with them being waterproof! this pair my feet have stayed dry so far! very comfortable!

Good work boots

I'm a UPS driver and I'm trying to find boots for my kind of pavement walking. I do about 20 k steps a day these boots are really nice and absorb shock from all the steps I take. Cheaper than most of the boots out there but by far the nicest looking I have owned. At the end though I have to try another brand I wore out the tread to fast to but would purchase the boots for different uses.

Overall it performs the features extremely well. However the soles wear out far too, but will continue to buy

Great boot but soles need work

I bought these boots for work. I was wearing the Romeo high top before. I did not try these on before I ordered them. The only down side I have about this boot is the top edge is do hard that it gave me bruises on my ankles. I cut the thick foam out and now they are a great boot.

Try before you buy

Bought a pair and after a month and a half, both sole cracked and broke. Also had a pair of Brookvilles that after less than 4 months the soles completely wore out. Used to get the non steel toe Hammer and would easily get more than two years out of them. After my last two experiences, I have lost a lot of confidence in what I thought used to be very good boots and have since switched to a different brand
