15 lb dumbbell review

This dumbbell is sturdy, comfortable to hold, and easy to use. The rubber coating protects the floor, and the hexagonal shape keeps it from rolling. Great quality and good value. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Great Quality Dumbbell

I ordered a dumbbell. It came earlier. It was very easy to order and the pick up was very good. Will shop again.

I've been buying these dumbbells in different weight increments since the very beginning of quarantine. These are great and currently the only affordable dumbbells I can find anywhere! I've dropped them a few times on matts during my workouts and so far no sign of wear or tear at all. Super happy that I picked these up!

Put one one the dumbbells' on the scales to see what it ways. They all way different. I put a 30 pound on the scales and it only weigh 28.9 pounds. so I checked the reset of them and some way what they say but must of them are off what there suppose to weight..

[Employee of walmartcanada] I purchased 2 x 20lbs dumbbells. 

This is my latest pair of dumbbells after upgrading from a pair 10lbs rubber-coated dumbbells from a different brand. 

This new pair has a handle with a good thickness for someone with smaller hands, not too thick or too thin. 

The handle's cone-like design is very ergonomic and makes the dumbbells easy to hang on to even for someone like me whose hands are not very strong yet. 

The knurling (the grippy diamond cut pattern) is a little bit aggressive and may leave you calloused if you do a lot of reps. You can use gloves to prevent that. 

The materials appear high-quality and strong. Although, I would not recommend dropping ANY pair of dumbbells, do enough reps that you get a good work out but not so many that you can't put them down gently. 

The weight is nearly 100% correct according to my bathroom scale. One dumbbell weighs 19.8lbs while the other weighs 19.9lbs. There is not enough of a difference in weight between the two dumbbells to tell any difference by feel.

Those who are new to working out: It is VERY rare for any 2 dumbbells to weigh exactly the same and it is also VERY rare for them to be the exact advertised weight.  

This is a very good result especially for the low price.  You could spend a lot more money for a lot worse result. 

The balance is perfect and neither side of the dumbbell wants to tilt while doing curls or similar exercises. I haven't tried any pressing exercises with these yet as I am not yet strong enough. 

Please note that this product is NOT a pair of dumbbells it is a singular dumbbell. Read titles carefully. 

The ordering process was a bit strange as my order for 2 x 20lbs dumbbells was turned into 2 separate orders with 1 dumbbell each. I don't know if this is a bug or what, but it has the potential to create a lot of confusion. 

In the end, my card was charged only once and for the correct amount. But receiving 2 texts for 2 different order pick ups for 2 of the same item isn't ideal. If I were the employee in charge of that one I'd be very confused. 

The dumbbells were originally handed to me in 2 separate cardboard boxes. Neither of which made it out of the store as they were too fragile to cope with the sheer weight. Why even put them in boxes in the first place? It surely did not make them any easier to carry.

The order arrived at the store only 3 days after I placed the order. Though it should be noted that the only reason I ordered them online in the first place was that they were out of stock in the store and there was no date for when they would be back in stock. I would have preferred to try and buy them in the store. 

In summary:

Almost perfect product. Room to improve the service.

They are great dumbbells.  I would give it more stars if they didn't leave black marks on EVERYTHING!  Just brushing up against your clothes leaves marks.  Tried washing them and still no luck.

only came with one dumbbell which i kinda figured but it would be nice if that was properly specified somewhere. has a super weird smell to it that i'll have to get use to.

2 dumbells were ordered and the ordered changed to 1 Dumbell with 15$ additional charge without any notification.
