Similar to or lower than other sweeteners.

Great product though I wish it were more economical.  Though it is more economical than other resources I have found for this kind of sweetner, I wish it was even more so.  It tastes great and measures cup for cup as a sugar substitute in baking.

What can be better?

I have done an extensive search for a sugar free sweetener that was #1 actually sweet and #2 didn't have a nasty chemical aftertaste.  This is perfect sweetener.  It even tastes better than sugar.  I am also pleased with the price.  It's still about $5 a pound higher than sugar but compared to other sweeteners this is the best price.  I just wish I could buy it at the store one pound at a time rather than online 4 lbs at a time.  That is the only real drawback but still worth it.

I've been using Monk fruit sweetener for a while now but this is the 1st time I try this brand. My husband and I really liked it. The price is reasonable and accessible. Funny how making bad choices can be so cheap to buy in comparison to trying to make healthy ones. In my case I ended up paying high price-developing diabetes -which is why I strive to find substitute sweeteners that are a from a clean source and that won't  spike my sugar and this is a wonderful option to have available at Sams. Thank you for having it.

I love my Monk!

I cannot use artificial sweeteners, because they make me nauseous. I tried Stevia, but I hate its taste, particularly in my coffee. Monk Fruit doesn't alter the taste of coffee.
It is perfect for baking as well.

Tastes the most like sugar

use same as sugar, equal measures, suggest white, as "Golden" colors food light brown, no after taste

I was recently diagnosed with cancer, so am eliminating refined sugar from my diet.  I have tried using this and although it says to substitute in on a 1:1 ratio I have found that I can decrease the monk fruit to a much smaller ratio.  Works great.

Great substitute

This isn't pure Monk fruit but it's a great product for the price.  I do find I have to add twice as much as the recommendation but I like my coffee sweet like a life partner should be!

I was trying to buy pure Monk Fruit sugar. But the main ingredient in this is Erithrytol. There was no information on the front of the package that I can see, but in fine print on the back, the ingredient list shows Erithrytol is the main ingredient.   I am returning it. My nutritionist said that Erithrytol has negative effects on the brain.
