I love the pot and pan set.  I have been using them for 2 weeks now.  They cook evenly.  I love the steamer, I used it for fresh green beans and it worked very well. I look forward to trying new dishes with these pots and pans. I have wanted Gotham Steel for a long time and they are as good as they say,
I would recommend to my friends.
I always wash my pots and pans by hand and never in the dishwasher as the chemicals are to harsh.

LOVE this set. I replaced my 15 year old non stick pots and pans with this. The instructions say DO NOT use non stick spray, and so I used 1/2 tsp olive oil for my first time cooking eggs. WAY too much oil!! I probably should have used 5 drops! This set is amazing, cleans well (hand wash only) the lids are great and the handles are perfect. They're okay in the oven to 400F (manufacturer says 500F but I don't bake anything that high except cast iron.). They're beautiful to look at, so much so, that I may extend the set I got and replace other large pots.
The set I bought has perfect size pots/pans for family of 4.

Amazing and beautiful

I opened the box and I felt like a kid in a candy store. I purchased the 10 pice set and I used them as soon as I washed them. They are really nice.

This review is particular to the"punched copper" option. It cleans up easily. A bit specific on the maintenance but if you use as directed these pots and pans will always look like new.

weight is very light my other pans %26 Pots were heavy. there wasy to clean, I, made a sunny side up egg and I was able to slide right on my plate perfectly. the Gotham Steel cookware is so awesome.

I would recommend everyone to purchase this

I've had this set for about 2 weeks. So far the non-stick is working great. I am being intentional to not use abrasive utensils and cleaning pads with them. I am hand washing and drying as well to prevent any deterioration of the finish. Also using everything on a low to medium setting has not been an issue to cook with; only raising it higher for boiling.

 The design is beautiful, but the color is definitely not copper. The exterior leans to a silver or light rose gold color. I almost returned when I saw this, but realized for the price point, good reviews, and design, this is about the most attractive cookware set you can find.

Color isn't right, but still beautiful

Returned this set today. Another reviewer had mentioned that it marked up their glass cooktop. I bought the set thinking that this couldn't be right, but they were right. I used one pan, one time, and it left aluminum marks on my cooktop that was difficult to remove. You'd think they would test for such a thing, but apparently not. If you have a nice glass cooktop, rethink this purchase. One star, and returned.

Returned after first use.

I got these in April of last year, they were great at first, but 10 months in and I am going to have to replace my most used pans already. Everything sticks, they're becoming very hard to clean, marked up even though I have never used metal on them. I followed the care instructions exactly, I babied them actually. Very disappointing.

Won't last long

Please be careful with these pots. I bought them because I thought they were a lovely set of pots and pans. However , I found myself getting burned twice. The lids get extremely hot while simmering on the stove. If you grab the handle of the lid without a towel over your hand you are going to get burned. Like I said, on two different occasions I burned my hand, so I took them back to Walmart for a refund. I feel that it is  important to let you know , that while this is a beautiful set of cookware, the handles do get dangerously hot.

Extremely hot!

By far the worst pans I've ever owned.   The first week...amazing. We cook all the time and have never used high heat.  We always have used silicone or wooden utensils.  These scratch very easily....thats with wooden or silicone.  The non stick is gone within about a week or two of daily cooking.  One skillet never had a non stick surface at all. We've called and emailed the company but get nothing back.  The first time we called, they said they'd get a new one out, that was 3 months ago.  The second time, they said they'd call back....thats been a month.  They have not honored any of their warranty or guarantee.   One of the calls gives me the instructions how to reseason it. I have done that, it doesn't last but maybe one or 2 meals.    The set of cookware that walmart sells, I believe mainstays that is teflon outlasted these skillets by a long shot.   I got the copper hammered ones, they are great for decoration, beautiful pots and pans.  Just can't cook with them.
