Surprisingly good, usually the store brand is off/not as good as the name brand.

Not as good as Kellogg's the texture is wrong and they don't have as much frosting, they almost rated stale but it was a brand new box

The square wheat segments are okay; the “topping” tastes quite artificial. Stick with the name brand.

Disappointed in Topping Flavour

This new version of the previous frosted wheat bundles that use to be in a bag are terrible
The former ones tasted like frosted shredded wheat but these taste like pressed sawdust.

Terrible Cereal change

I purchased this great value cereal thinking “yay, it's vegan-/vegetarian-friendly, unlike other similar cereals!”  Aaaand it has gelatin.  So it's neither vegan, nor vegetarian.  Gelatin is made from boiling skin, bones, connective tissue of dead animals.  Pretty nasty to have for breakfast.

The quality is like dog food it's shredded wheat missing most frosting only to be frosted at double and triple wheat square combinations.  A constant disappointment of the expectation for them to be frosted.  Looking in the bag makes you wonder if something is eating the frosting off the squares.

It tastes like plain porridge,  literally.  I must say that it is the first time that I have been emmensely disappointed with a "Great Valu" product.
