Ah, Great Value Funsorts Fun Candy Mix, the carnival of confectionery disappointment that's about as fun as a merry-go-round with square wheels. This assortment of sugar-coated regret is the Walmart equivalent of Alibaba's 40 thieves – each piece stealing a little bit of your dignity with every chew.
Opening the bag is like prying open a treasure chest, if the treasure was a hodgepodge of stale gummies and knock-off brand candies. The texture ranges from "slightly chewy" to "might need dental work", with flavors as authentic as a Vaseline smiley face on a window. It's a rainbow of artificial colors that screams "I gave up on nutrition today!"
The mix promises variety, but delivers monotony. It's as if someone raided the clearance bin at a discount store and decided to call it a party.
