I'm not sure how pure this salt is like the other reviews have said but it does taste good, works for what I need it for (seasoning) and it is very reasonably priced for how much you get in a box. Great Value.

Great Value Salt

So there's a lot of reviewers concerned about additives. I could give a detailed run down as to why each is there, but I'll summarize it for you: Everything in the box is there so you don't end up with big, hard lumps. One special mention does go to potassium iodide though - that one prevents YOU from getting a lump in your throat - a goiter.

Personally, I'd rather have the extra stuff, because while pure sodium chloride sounds good on paper, it'd quickly turn into a literal rock. I don't want to break out a hammer and chisel every time I go to season my eggs.

5/5 stars, because it's salt and the price is right.

This is the second time that I buy this salt.
It works like all salts but it is the cheapest in the market (as far as I know)
I have not had problems with the box 
I know it has many ingredients but almost all table salts have it and they are necessary elements in the salt. 
In case you want something different you could always buy marine salt.

It is salt

I've purchased this product twice and both times had issues with the box leaking salt out of the bottom. Very annoying to have a salt mess to clean up after each use! Thought it might be a one off, but alas, no. I'll stick to other brands from now on.

Poor packaging

Wjy are there other ingredients in salt..dextrose?? Not needed..and a few other..ridiculous.. Salt is supposed to be salt..

Too many extras

I recently bought several packages of GREAT VALUE Table salt in Walmart Salmon Arm BC. Salt I wanted to something to use, so I left halves packages dissolve in warm water in a bucket. After stirring nothing happened even after 2 hours so I discovered that it is not salt, but the sand mixing of different "Product." I recommend this "S A L T " ??? can test yourself at home. I tried sea salt, and it dissolved immediately. Here are some photos.

Beware "Great value table salt"

This salt is cheaper than some other brands, but it also contains dextrose!  Do you really want sugar in your salt?  I don't, but fortunately there are other brands without it.  I'll buy those.

SUGAR IN YOUR SALT?

Pure salt is healthier. Glad I read label as some even have sugar!
