The awful flavour of brown rice combined with the nutritional value of brown rice to deliver exactly the brown rice I'd expect from brown rice.

Brown Rice Doing What Brown Rice Does

This is a little hard so needs to be cooked a little longer than regular rice to get it soft. However I believe that brown rice has much more nutritional value than white rice so I am okay with the little hardness and time consumption in cooking.

What a good product I have ever had! It tases good and yummy!

Just make sure you let it sit in water for about an hour so that the grains grow and you'll see the difference. Bad reviews Only  come from people who've never cooked in their lives.

Not sure what all the negativity is about. I have been eating this rice 6-7 days per week with my supper for 10+ years, with NO complaints.
Yes, it takes longer to cook ( it's not instant rice). I have 4 tablespoons each night with 1.5 tablespoons of (low sodium) salsa and love it.
I would have given 5+ stars, but lately the stores have dropped it. Now I will have to go back to the Superstore rice, (not as flavourful as the G.V.)

Great Rice

[Employee of walmartcanada] Usually the brands buyers come up with excellent product but I found this rice to be a little dirty, with a lot of grains with hulls still on, and a lot of undersized and blackened (decaying) units as well. You have to pick through it. Hardly any broken grains, though!

A bit disappointing

I bought 3 bags.  I emptied the bags into a jar and sealed the lid.  When I opened the jar some time later, a live moth crawled out.  I found a moth's nest and rice was clinging to the jar by invisible webs.

I found a moth in my rice
