Great Value Rice & Ancient Grains is a robust blend of different grains ready to prepare as a hearty side dish or as the base for a main course entree. This mixture of rice, barley, wheat, red rice, oats, bulgur wheat, and quinoa contains 8 whole grains per 1/4 cup serving. Perfect for busy weeknights, this rice and ancient grains medley is easy to cook and ready in minutes. To prepare on the stovetop, combine 2 cups (500 mL) water or broth and 1 cup (180 g) grains in a saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low, cover and cook for 10 minutes. Great grain blend, however the cooking directions are bad. Use 1 cup of rice and grains to 1 and 1/2 cups of water. Just as though you're making basmati rice etc. then it's perfect!
