They were not fresh n crisp.. please check quality control.

I didn't like the quality of the pieces as they were very dark and old as compared with other brands of Walnuts

Great Value Walnut halves and pieces

Smelled old, detected decay/molds on opening the bag, despite long expiry date. Far too high proportion of black, old and degraded nuts were immediately visible too. I poured the top portion of the bag out onto a plate; photo attached if it works (doesn't usually, interestingly). This bag appears to suggest a significant lack of even modest quality control at the brand level.

Taste-tested apparently regularly coloured nuts on two consecutive days, and was not a fluke first day, this confirmed that the contents were already going rancid long before reaching my kitchen. Returned the product; too poor quality to even put it out for wildlife.
