It has an LED strip inside which lights up when you open the cabinet, and that takes three AAA batteries. Of course the light shuts off by microswitch when you close the door. It had an interesting smell when we took it out of the box. That could be the pressed particleboard and part of the manufacturing. Looking forward to that faint smell to dissipate hopefully over the next 48 hours. Other than that my daughters mounted on the wall and it looks fantastic

Love! this mirror jewlery box. Hung it on the wall and it looks great and holds all my jewlery and nail polish, lip gloss. With the butterflys screws it stays up there nice and sturdy with a sticky strip for the bottom. Great buy!

Great organizer with a lot of space. Fast shipping,easy to hang.  I have only one complain it's the funky smell which I still feel it.

Item came with a broken corner from carrier

This looks cheaply made, and whew it offgassed so much that I had to leave it in the garage for two nights before we put it up.  It arrived with a few scratches but will continue to use. It does not look like it should cost more than $50. I will use it because it is the size I need. Its quite literally just painted brown. Doesnt look like wood at all

Gave it 2 stars because the piece is practical. It also is made very cheaply and was cracked on both side panels. My husband reinforced the sides with wood as I did not have the energy to return it.  I would not pay more than $50 for this piece.

The back was damaged in several spots and the screws was screwed to far in which caused the wood to break also appear to have water damage at the bottom right corner
