Just what I needed for my big rough collie who sometimes gets so excited when he sees deer that he forgets he's not supposed to chase them and takes off on me.  He prefers the Halti to his Herm Springer steel prong collar.  It fits his long slim nose comfortably and saves my bad back.

This is an updated version of the Halti that I have been using for the pat 6 years.  It has reflective straps across the muzzle.  I don't know why.  The fit is good. Halti has been the head collar of choice for us since my Maggie was a puppy, s years ago.  I also used Halti to walk my German Shorthair  Pointer .  I love the amount of control it offers without choking the dog.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works for training to keep stop pulling and helps you keep the dog from eating everything on the ground/floor that could be harmful.  Does not restrict drinking or eating.  IS NOT a muzzle!  Would recommend for all new pups and dogs in training. We got the 1st one in 2022 for our service dog while on trip after seeing another dog get poisoned while hiking.  Our new service dog is 1 year old and larger, pulls harder and still learning. Would not want to do without this head collar.

My daughter has a 80 pound Lab who had not been walked and pulled me down the street while wearing a chest halter or a collar.  Walking was never fun, as she did not let up at all.  I had used the Halti on my Spaniel for years, I knew this would work!  Bam, the first walk was fidgety because she tried in vain to pull.  Now I can walk her 2 or  times a day without a bit of pulling. Greatest thing ever for a dog who insists on pulling!

Walks with my 120 lb Mastiff (she outweighs me!) consisted of her dragging me down the sidewalk. The Halti was recommended

Halti halter works great for slowing down energetic friends. Additionally, the collar lead strap with metal clip decreases risk of halter detachment. Great safety feature! However, the head plastic snap together buckle tends to break when attaching. I have had to replace this halter 5 times due to this weak link in the halter design.

Very good halter, But..

Even though I followed the sizing chart, Way too small and could not use. By the time I received my new puppy...it was past the refund period.

Go at least one size larger...runs small
