This chair has a very solid construction, simple to assemble except for installing arms, you have to squeeze them to get the screw holes aligned.  Overall a good buy

Great chair

chair was easy to put together and set up. I had difficulty with the tilt mechanism as it was so stiff I had to put my feet on a desk and push back to get it to loosen up. I sent a email to manufacturer and they immediately sent me a new tilt mechanism to take care of the problem. Great customer service from them so all is well.

office chair

finally an affordable chair for big men!

Very comfortable, even with 12+ hour workdays.  I do recommend that you have two people to put it together.  The chair had a stripped channel for one of the screws.  It took some doing to create a solution.  The seat padding has already compressed quite a bit after a month, even no where near the 500-lb capacity.  It is still comfortable, but it is noticeably flatter than at assembly.

Good chair but flattens quickly

Great chair loses 1* for the disclaimer in the warranty! I've never spent > $200 for an executive desk chair, so I hesitated to buy this one. Now that I did, boy am I glad! The + reviews were a real asset. I'm a big man, and I wear thru these kinds of chairs about every 2 years. Once built, I compared this chair to the one I was getting rid of, and the differences were obvious: all-steel construction where the other one was mostly plastic; steel base; full-loop arms instead of just arm rests, and thick leather padding. I could tell this was a keeper as soon as I sat in it! Last suggestion – there are 4 plastic caps that cover the holes for screws for the arms. While they look nice, I suggest that you wait until you've sat in the chair once, and tightened the screws that hold in the arms, before you put the caps in. IMPORTANT NOTE: THIS CHAIR HAS A DISCLAIMER ON THE WARRANTY: "Our products have a 2 year warranty for parts. This warrants against defects in manufacturing. If the products are used excessively (more than 8 hours/day), and have excessive weight (over 225 lbs.) applied, the warranty is void. New parts will be sent out, or the item will be replaced at our discretion." I emailed the company about this, and they responded: As long as our chairs are used in a regular business-like manner and fits in with the parameters of its design (like weight capacity) you will be OK”. Not sure why they would feel the need to provide a disclaimer, but I plan to keep both my Walmart confirmation email as well as their response in case I need to request warranty service.

Great chair - loses 1* for confusing warranty

1.construction is 5 star and looks like it will last a long time 2.Only problem is the inability to hold the reclined position for any length of time. The chair must be lowered to its lowest seat position to allow for a short period of "reclined" rest.

Big And Tall Office Chair

This chair seems to be very well made. The base with the wheels is very heavy, well made stainless steel. It is welded together for extra support. It is a very nice medium, soft leather. Good lumbar support. Seat tips forward, slightly. I believe that it will change with use. The best constructed chair that I have seen, in my venture to find a good quality chair.

Hercules Heavy Duty office chair.

Nice chair and very wide for us big folks. The setup wasn't that great as instructions aren't that informative. PRO's: High Back, very comfortable when sitting straight up, rolls very easily when you need to do it. CON's: The bolts provided are pot aluminum and the heads are very thin and could strip when tightening. It would be best to get steel bolts from your local hardware store but easy on tightening them so they do not strip the socket. Also, the chair is described as a swivel chair, and I guess it is. I'm 6'2" tall, and weigh about 220 pounds, and I even have a problem in attempting to recline in it as it is very very stiff, and that is after the adjustment knob is turned. Because of the swivel and that is one of my biggest buying decisions, I rated this product as a 3. If the swivel was correct and even with the bolt problem, I would have rated this a 5 star!

Nice ChairBut!

Unfortunately after receiving in good condition and no issues with assembly, the chair began to lose height and lower to bottom of pneumatic cylinder. Purchased chair specifically for being heavy duty and for ability to sit high. Pneumatic Cylinder will not hold height when person in chair.

Nice Chair but Pneumatic Cylinder Failing

Well, the chair didn't last a full year. I ordered better wheels to make sure that they wouldn't mark up my wood floors. Where the wheels attach to the chair has broken.  I should have returned the chair when I got it because it leans forward. I figured I could get past that.
