OK. So...Here's the deal with these Flash Furniture chairs. I LOVE them. The problem is trying to get an undamaged set . They need to either wrap the seat brackets with more protective material, or put the seat cushion you ordered into it's own box. The problem is the seat cushions can bounce around inside the box, and then the cushion gets cut by the brackets used to mount the cushion to the frame. I had to order a total of 5 chairs from 2 different sellers, in order to get 2 cushions that were undamaged. This is for the bar height stool. The same problem with some breakroom chairs from the same manufacturer. I had to order 4 break room chairs to get 2 undamaged seat cushions. Same packaging issue, and damage during transit. OTHERWISE...I LOVE LOVE LOVE these chairs and barstools. It would take so little effort to adjust the packaging for transit.

Very easy to assemble and looks great at my pub table. The only reason I gave 4 stars for the appearance is as mentioned in other reviews...the brackets are silver and you can see them from behind. I touched them up with dark brown paint and they are no longer noticeable. The packing was nice in the box but there were still a few rub marks/places on the wood. Easy fix with black marker and then some furniture polish. I only bought 1 to see if it was as nice as the pic and was pleased with it and I will be buying 3 more to complete the set.

great barstool for the money

LOVE MY BARSTOOLS!!! I ordered two (not knowing at first that EACH one was $99, I thought it was around $100 for both) so I was very shocked to find out when I received them what the actual prize was. When I brought them out of the package together and assembled them, I loved them so much the prize didn't matter anymore. They were so easy to put together and are such an elegant touch to my apartment. They're very tall too which is perfect for my high bar counter. LOVE THEM!!! The wood is beautiful too and the padding on the seat isn't bad.

AMAZING

We had a rather high bar top at 43" and needed a tall stool to accomodate that height. These bar stools delivered perfectly at 31 inches tall. Had them for about a month and they are great. Large seats, great looks and very strudy. Only negative in appearance is the small silver support brackets that can be seen from behind if you're looking closely - but they can be darkened w/ a marker. Also, although they were easy to assemble in only a few minutes, I found that I needed slightly longer screws on a couple of the stools when attaching the seat. But this was no big deal, since they come fully assemble except for the seat.

Color of these stools on the on-line pictures is off. First ordered the mahogany stools, but they are very red/cherry in color and our kitchen was more brown/maple in color. The walnut stools are pretty dark, but a much better match to brown tones.

The stools arrived and were very well packaged although both had marks on the seats that need to be touched up. Upon installing the seat on the first stool I discovered that the unfinished tops of the legs were visible on each side of it so I had to stain them to make them less noticeable. Still, makes the stool look cheap. Didn't have this problem with the second stool though - the set covers the tops of the legs. Probably won't use them much as I've moved them to the basement.

Mismatched pieces

After searching for a month for the perfect set of barstools I finally landed on these and was excited. After paying a decent amount for them, I received 2 entirely different products. On the other hand, the ladder barstool is very sturdy and attractive. I am happy with the one, just wish I had its pair.

Great product except they sent 2 different items.

The seat itself is too hard, color is perfect, wood grain perfect just should not find the perfect height from the bar to seat (only 30" needed 34").  I just compromised because of the cost.   Best price for the bar stools.  Overall, happy, seat is just too hard.

Compromised

The chairs I received fairly quickly although I had to wait almost 2 weeks for the hardware.For the most part, I like the chairs except 1 is very wobbly and a customer went to get up and knocked it over in the floor. I was expecting them to be a little more sturdy. probably not the best to use on carpeted floors.

I absolutely love the frame of this barstool. However I was extremely unhappy with the quality of the fabric covering the seats and the packaging of this item. I ordered 10 of these stools for my family's business. When the stools arrived, 6 out of the 10 stools had tears in the seats. I blame this on the poor packaging but it also made me wonder about the strength of the fabric provided with the product. I recovered the seats myself with a heavier vinyl and am happy with the product now.
