First thing you should is that the chair is shipped as a flat-pack. The legs must be screwed in (tip: use the bag to hold the protective cover and catch the paint that flakes off; another tip: don't forget the plastic disk that fits between the legs and the chair bottom; third tip: round legs go in the front). The wings must be attached to the back (the slides come attached to the wings and must be separated, I found a tap from a light hammer to be helpful; the freed piece gets screwed into the side of the chair back [arrow points down] %26 the wing then slides into place). The final step is to slide the back into place (tip: search for the holes before trying to insert it).
Working solo, slowly, and carefully, it took me less than 30 minutes to assemble (I am not as young as I used to be).
The end product is very attractive and comfortable.

Love this chair!  High back, firm  and easy to get out of.  My son assembled it in about five minutes.

The perfect chair

The cushion is not comfortable.  The chair is not comfortable to sit on. The cushion could be thicker for comfortably

While these chairs are beautiful in person, they are very cheaply made and should not have been over $200.00 a piece. They are firm to sit in which I can get past, but the sides are flimsy. and I mean very flimsy.  Everytime i sit in it, it moves. the backs are sunken in, so to sit comfortably,  you will need a pillow. I purchased these for my prayer room, but I'll probably end up selling them and buying some other more sturdier and comfortable chairs I saw at the At Home store that cost less!
