With storage space under each seat and ottoman, they give your living room a clean and tidy feel. We offer two materials, linen and velvet, each with three colors to choose from. Linen is simple and atmospheric, while velvet is noble and elegant, and is also pet-friendly. For easy cleaning, we designed all the covers to be removable and washable. Because there are many possible combinations for each set, you can unleash your imagination and freely combine. We recommend the L-shaped, U-shaped, and sofa bed configurations.

It's really very easy to mount, not too heavy and very comfortable. I was hesitant to buy online but really I am pleasantly surprised!

Excellent purchase

We ordered the black Honbay velvet sectional sofa from Walmart.ca, and it arrived within 3 days, which was a full week sooner than originally expected. The shipment originated in Woodbridge, Ontario. It's less expensive via Walmart than W**f*ir, but it's the exact same product.

When we opened the first box, our initial response was, "this does not look black. Is this a midnight blue?" Compared to the black of the underbelly, the velvet black exterior looked "off-black". However, when the underbelly fabric is hidden after assembly, the velvet black is clearly black. It's just a different black. Of course, velvet also has the traces of touch, and absorbs light differently depending on which way the fibres are swept. Our home has plenty of natural light, which allowed us to confirm that the colour was indeed black. With different lighting, the black may appear a bit cloudy.

We ordered a 2 x 3 combination, which comprises of 6 modules (squares), 3 back rests, 2 arms rests (1 left, 1 right) and 3 back cushions/pillows. These arrived in 7 boxes. The delivery men brought the boxes up to our apartment unit.

The 3 boxes for the ottomans each contained 1 module, 4 feet, 4 washers, and flat "TT" brackets for connecting bases together, plus an instruction manual.

The 3 boxes for the seats each had 1 module, 4 feet, 4 washers, 1 back rest and 1 cushion, 1 dual-head screwdriver (Phillips + flat head), the flat "TT" brackets for connecting bases, and H-brackets and screws for connecting the vertical back to the base, plus an instruction manual.

The 1 box for the arm rests contained 1 left arm rest, 1 right arm rest, and the H-brackets and screws for attaching the vertical sides to the base.

Assembly was straightforward, even without reading the instructions. It took 2 people 1 hour but it could have been faster if we'd given it our full attention instead of watching football. The feet are plastic and each has a tiny circle protrusion in the middle of the base (not the flat wide square base we'd expected). We chose to stick felt pads to the bottom to protect the floor from scratches.

To hold the modules together is as simple as dropping the flat "TT" brackets into the pre-made slots/holes. To hold the vertical arms/backs to the bases, you'll need to use the provided screwdriver and screws to attach the H-brackets to the vertical pieces (backs/arms), then simply drop the brackets into the pre-made holes/slots on the bases. Removing these brackets is simple enough so that reconfiguring the shape of the sofa takes maybe 1 minute.

The back pillows/cushions may be flat when first unpacked but inflate fully within a day. These are well made with piping and a hidden zip. No loose threads.

Each storage bin is very capacious. We fit 7 bath towels in one, and a queen-sized comforter and a king-sized mattress topper together in another one (both vacuum sealed, of course). Each module has a strap to tug to open the lid, and a hand can easily slide between the space to grab the strap to open the modules on the back row. There is no need to remove the back pillow/cushion to open the lid. 

The back of the sofa is flat, so it be flush against a wall if that's what you prefer. Our set has an imperfection: 1 arm rest does not line up at the back. I saw reviews on another website that mentioned the same problem. It's unfortunate but not a dealbreaker. Warning: If you put your weight against the back part of the arm rest, where it is perpendicular to line up with the back, then you may cause the H-brackets to shift slightly and the arm rest to be unstable. This can be solved by adding a rubber washer (not included) to fill the slack/space in the slot/hole where the bracket sits.

The seat cushion (the surface where you actually plant your butt) is very thick and a little firm. The height is great, and works well with the height of the back pillows.

We've only had the sofa for 1 week, so no feedback on longevity. We hope this review helps with your decision.
