Good water cooler, it had really bad reviews when i purchased it, but i took the gamble because it was on sale. In case you are wondering, the heating and cooling lights on the front do not stay lit. They only turn on when that function is operating. At 1st I thought the cooler was broken, but that is just how it operates. I highly recommend

Recommend buying

Extremely happy with my purchase.  The only complaint I would have has nothing to do with the quality of my purchase,  it works beautifully.  I was disappointed by the amount of time that it was delayed in shipping.  It took roughly three weeks to receive it, but given the current situation with covid it is understandable.

Wonderful product.

Works as it should. Quiet, both hot and cold water functions work well. Good price on sale at Walmart. What else to say?

Good product

Works great, not much noise. Cold water is nice and cold, I haven't turned on the hot water so I don't know how hot it is.

Ony thing I would have liked is if the water would come out faster, filling a pot takes a bit of time, but for a glass of water it's fine.

Nice little machine

I like this water cooler as it has levers you can push to get the water rather than buttons you must push down. I can hold on to a pot with both hands now and fill it up. The negative is has only one leveling leg and it is at the front and is very noticeable as it is grey and not white like the other legs.

Ease of use

Nothing to set up. Plug in and set your refillable water container on. Works very well so far and has nice cold water.

Easy

Had this for 5 days and it started to leak from the cold water dispenser. There is also a significant design flaw with this unit in the way it dispenses water. You have to push on the handle (okay, no issue) but if you let go of the handle, you will spray water everywhere. There is still some water being dispensed when the handle returns to normal position. I'm very careful in that I place my glass on the catch basin/stand and push the lever in with my hand. Then, I slowly release the handle so I don't spray water everywhere. IMHO it's a very bad design. That and it leaks now and it's brand new. Other people have noted the same issue with the unit leaking.

Design flaws

Looked good when I first set it up.  Had it running for less than 2 weeks and cold water spout continuously dripped after using it and I didnt notice until my floor was covered with water.  I might have just happened to get a defective one but I was definitely not too impressed!

Defective!

Good looking water dispenser but that's about it. It was delivered in a timely fashion and that is the best thing about this product. After I unboxed it I followed the instructions and from that point could never get the cold water dispenser to work.  I followed the instructions for not getting cold water and nothing worked. So for now all I use this water dispenser for is the hot water. Seeing as the hot water works awesome, we use it for making ramen noodles. I definitely do not recommend this unit. It is a total disappointment because I bought it specifically for cold water. Totally not worth it. I will never buy another Hamilton Beach product again.

Hamilton Beach dud

Got it home and it ran for about 5 minutes then the hot water shut off…..about 15 minutes later cold water stopped. It dispenses water but does not chill or heat it. Returned the next day
