I have been wearing Hanes Alive Full Support pantyhose for more than 30 years. As an RN, and Nurse Practitioner of 43 years, I am constantly on my feet. These hose keep my legs well supported and energized. While I have a few small varicose vein's, I am certain I would have many more had I not been wearing these. They are also sheer enough to wear with dresses and don't look like “support hose”.

Excellent leg support

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been wearing these support pantyhose for as long as I can remember. I have varicose veins & these give me good support without the heaviness of compression stockings. I actually feel funny without them on.

Good product

I have worn your support hose for almost 5 decades now.  Lately I have noticed that the selections have been limited in style (all sheer vs reinforced toe), color, and size.  I have asked whenever given the chance to speak with a representative if the Hanes Alive support hose lines are being discontinued.  I have always been told "no", but in my last ordering experience, Little Color was no longer available and the sheer toe version has been missing from your listings for many months now.  I started wearing them in my 20s; add almost 50 years to that and you can see why I feel I need them even more now.  Please do not let the support selections die off.

Harder then ever to get now.

I thought that support hose would be uncomfortable and difficult to wear. Not so! Yes, they require some effort to put on in the morning. Once in place, they're actually quite comfortable. I didn't expect that at all. I can see now why other women have used these hose for years and years. I definitely recommend them. I'm 74, and have worn many different types of hosiery products. The hose themselves aren't as smooth or as sheer as some other Hanes styles, but then again Hanes Alive positively make my legs feel better in a way that no other hose can. And they certainly don't look bad. I've caught a “roving eye” or two. At my age, that feels really good.

These were a surprise

These support stockings are getting impossible to find, and I don't understand why. They look great, were true to size in my case, and are a necessity if you are on your feet all day. These seem a lighter version of those previously sold at their old Woodbury Commons outlet, so I am hoping that they will provide the same level of support. Glad that they can be purchased direct from the company.

I just love these support pantyhose!
Only one thing I'd like Hanes to consider.
The largest size needs attention.
Hanes should consider making them even larger.
I say that because I like to wear them to bed like they are pajamas.
The top waistline on them tends to cut into my entire waist & hips.

FYI~> I'm a 60 yr old straight male.
I'm 5'10”.
My waist measurement is 37”.

I've been wearing Hanes Alive support hose for over 20 years.  They wear and fit well but I'm finding the compression has decreased over the years.  They used to be made in a tighter, slightly heavier weave, which offered better support.  They're still the best around.

Product dependability

The first time I put on these pantyhose they developed runs in the left leg.  I'm not rough with putting on my hose.  In fact, I use donning gloves.  But as soon as I got the hose on I could see where potential holes would come about.  So I had to resort to the age old method of putting clear fingernail polish on them to try and prevent this.  I don't know how long that will hold up.  Plus, it doesn't look too good. These hose are advertised as sheer support.  I would think since they are for support the fabric would be weaved stronger.  They're probably not even made in this country anymore.  Very disappointed.  I wasted my money.  And these even had the reinforced toe.
