Hanes

Short version: Needed some embroidered underwear for an underwear run. Told my friend (who owns the embroidery shop), "I am open to whatever brand you select. Please just make certain that they are white briefs, large." I was thinking she was going to pick up Jockey or Calvin Klein. Imagine my surprise when I received my briefs and they were Hanes. I had not worn Hanes briefs since leaving high school. Imagine my surprise (and smile) when I tried them on. Not only did the brief look great and feel well, they were comfortable too. I have since added Hanes back into my underwear line up! Yes, I am pleased. Very pleased. I just ordered another half dozen embroidered Hanes briefs.

My husband has been wearing these for a few weeks. When I asked how he liked them (for this review) he just grunted. That means they are what he expected, no complaints. He will not allow me to take pictures or a video of him in his underwear so you'll have to take his grunt as his word.

I have only worn Haines briefs for 55 years. I just ordered more and got bags with one design that I purchased on the package and a different one inside. These are too long and constantly have stretched out leg holes. I'm done with Haines unless someone contacts me about this.

Waistband attachment unraveled the first time it was washed, and came also completely detached.

Hanes was always our choice for socks and underwear, they washed well and held up.  I am so disgusted with the last purchase we made. One wash and everything is pilly and horrible.  Even the waistband is pilly. And with every wash they get worse.  The quality that used to be Hanes is no longer there.  I will not be buying Hanes again.

Item has changed since late last year.  The new product has less support stitching and is unwearable.

Product unwearable!

I am not sure who is in charge of the design or the cost cutting, but they should be removed from their Position. By removing the wrapped bias fabric around the edge of the inner fly panel, you render the entire brief useless. Because it has no structure it now will flop open freely and quickly. Tried ine pair on and by the time I got to the bottom floor my junk fell through the fly. These lack any support or function now. I would consider it borderline false advertising to call this ultimate or premium. Nothing about cheapening the design to making it useless and uncomfortable is premium. I will not be buying any more hanes products and spreading the word that they gave up on quality until they address that. I demand a refund. In the photo on the left is the original brief with bias on the right the new terrible cheap design.

Dont bother they ruined the quality 6/25

Over the past several years I have found that my Hanes briefs all fail to provide me adequate support. This is due to the fact that the left leg opening in time just pulls away and doesn't have any elasticity that will allow the briefs to enclose me fully.

After 60 years Hanes has let me down
