For Workouts

Very pleased with the quality and what the shirt does for me. I can't be out in the sun with my treatments and medication as a result from cancer/ transplant. I live in Arizona where there isn't much shade. I Ordered 5 shirts to keep me protected and I am
Very satisfied. The price was unbeatable. I should have ordered more. Hopefully they last forever.

Hanes

FedEx Driver

Best shirts money can buy. I can buy any product and this is my pick.

Best shirts

This shirt fits and feels great. It has plenty of room because of a generous cut. The shirt works for the gym or with jeans and boots.

Great shirt

I've been looking for a comfortable longsleeve that would work for the gym and everyday use and this was it. I'm 6'5" (190 lbs) and have trouble finding longsleeve shirts that fit me but I ordered 2 XL and they are the best things I ever ordered. Perfect for the gym and playing basketball.

Finally found what I've been looking for

I bought the hi-viz yellow to wear while cycling. I wore it on a hot, sunny day riding on a busy road. It kept me cool while protecting me from sunburn and making me visible to cars. I bought a men's small since the hi-viz is not offered in women's. I hope Hanes will offer a hi-viz in women's soon. Until then, this Cool DRI men's works for me.

Nice shirt

Below I will be addressing a few issues others have mentioned in their reviews all in 1 go to hopefully save people time on their decision.
- Warmth complaints: Some have complained about warmth, but it seems as though those same people seem to think all long sleeves are made for cold frosty weather. This particular shirt would most easily be compared to a light flannel in terms of warmth. Granted, the way it draws away light to moderate sweat from your body, and breathes well as long as your moving makes it an acceptable choice to wear in a bit warmer conditions then you would think as well.

- Sizing/Fit issues: If your relatively broad shouldered, barrel chested, have a gut, or are a woman with an ample bust for your frame size then you are going to go 1 size up from what you would likely normally be accustomed to. The reasons for this would be for the tension in long forward/ back stretches as well as a hitch in a double overhead stretch if done rapidly. Also, one thing to note depending on your wing-span is if you do need to buy to accommodate for said issues you may need to do a quick take in on the sleeves as they do run a bit long. Personally, as I'm more of a V-shaped frame all I had to do was take a few minutes per shirt and take in about an inch to either side from mid-rib down on the torso.

- Transparency issue: Again if you have any off the listed body specifications listed above then your going to want to go at least a size up. From my experience though there's zero issue with it being any more see through then your standard undershirt. This is unless of course it's an overly tight fit, in which case because of how it's designed to breather it will become increasing more transparent the greater the exceeded stretch becomes.

- Color: Yes, they are shiny, not to the point of being reflective, but think like a shiny collared dress shirt or akin to most other performance/athletic wear attire that does.

After clearing all that up let me just say I think it's a great wear on it's own spring to fall shirt and makes an excellent heat circulating under layer for winter; ie pair it with a fleece pull-over and you'd be golden. It's soft, sleek without being clingy, is well priced, seems to stand up well to repetitively rough conditions, and helps to keep a good portion of sweat from building up on your skin which keeps you cool when moving while sweating.

* One thing worth mentioning is if it's humid I wouldn't hold the expectation for it to miraculously keep you cool if your just lounging about. The way the sweat-wicking coolness works depends on your movement. Just thought I'd throw that out there for anyone who might incorrectly expects the shirt to act like some sort of cheap ac unit alternative if you just sitting on your bum :P

Great for an active lifestyle

walmart.com

Nice shirts but they have a manufacturing defect about one palm width below the armpit. I'd suggest reinforcing the stitching there to keep an otherwise decent shirt. I did a double stitch about two inches long and it's keeping them from falling apart.

beware of manufacturing defect

Sizing is inconsistent. Ordered 3 shirts all XXL. 1 Red, 1Grey and 1 Royal Blue. The Red fits like a large, Grey fits about right and Royal Blue fits like a XXXL. All three shirts have a different sleeve length. Like the material they are made of. Cool in the summer heat and offer sun protection. Nice shirts for the price. Just wish the sizing was consistent.

Shirt sizing inconsistent

These are not the same quality shirts as what they sold in the past. Material is thinner and weaker stitching. Tags are removable but then it's difficult to tell which way is the front and back of the shirt. Cheaply made. Needs printed label or tag on back of shirt

Not really the same shirts anymore
