I am a female & order the men's cool dri shirts to wear while gardening. I like wearing men's shirts as they are longer and the back of the shirts do not ride up when bending over. The cool dri shirts are so comfortable when working on hot humid days.

Men's Cool-Dri T shirts

Hanes

Great hot weather T-Shirt. They really are wicking and quick drying. I recently wore a Cool Dri Performance Tee as an under shirt beneath a long sleeved all cotton T-Shirt while teaching 6 students to ride motorcycles on an asphalt "range" in 98F degree heat. We were out there for 5 hours and I kept a thermal neck wrap on which I kept wetting with cold water. I remained comfortable. When I took off the all cotton shirt (it was hot and damp) at the end of the session, my Cool Dri shirt WAS ACTUALLY cool and dry.
I immediately went to the computer and ordered 5 more. Great product.

Motorcycle Heat

I like the 100% polyester tees for their quick drying. But, they are not as comfortable as cotton, and must be handled more carefully to last. Polyester is a weak fabric, prone to pilling. I wash these inside out and hang dry (do not used the dryer). If you treat them carefully, they are as good as the Nike Dri Fit for a fraction of the price although not nearly as decorative.

Good value, great color, basic

walmart.com

Without a doubt in my whole life, the Cool DRI tee has been by far the most comfortable t-shirt I've worn. Extremely comfortable, comes in a nice array of colors and affordable to boot. Literally bought like ten pairs and just threw out my regular Hanes shirts. If you don't have one, get it, you certainly will not regret it!

Absolutely love these shirts!

I bought a few of these for soccer and really like them. Very comfortable and they do not hold the sweat or cling. I am 5 feet 10 inches, 170 pounds and the medium fits well, loose fit but not too loose. Also, seems like it wont get snagged by Velcro (goalie gloves) which is nice. This is a great workout shirt, I plan to buy more. As good or better than the $20 to $40 workout shirts from other brands.

Excellent shirt for soccer

My husband likes these t-shirts for working & hiking in the hot weather, because they're lightweight and the material dries quickly. Only negative he had was the the tags at the back of the neck were stiff/scratchy. Hopefully they'll soften up after a few washings.

Quick-Dry Shirts

I own this shirt as well as one of the Starter Dri-Star shirts sold by WalMart for slightly more money. I do not own any of the big name brands so my review will be a comparison to the Starter shirt. The fabric of the Hanes is 100% polyester as is the Starter shirt however, the Hanes shirt seems to be slightly thicker and less see-thru. The Hanes shirt is more full cut and has a longer length while the Starter shirt has a slimmer cut. Workmanship seems comparable. I wear these shirts while playing table tennis and was able to saturate both shirts quite easily. The moisture wicking ability of the Hanes seems to be slightly better but neither shirt will keep you dry if you sweat a lot. However, both will dry faster than a 100% cotton t-shirt. Overall, I prefer the Hanes to the Starter shirt because the Hanes is slightly less expensive and the material seems to be slightly better quality.

I've owned Hanes Cool Dri Men's T-shirts for years. My latest purchase replaced ones that gave great service and finally wore out. I believe the quality is not quite as good - a little thinner. And, Hanes should never have replaced their signature tagless labels for the annoying tags on the newer Hanes shirts.

Still a Good Product

Wore XXL Tagless for years and fit was perfect. Recent XXL order came with Tags and was snug. Ordered XXXL with Tags and way too big.
Done with Hanes and searching other brands. Should have kept Tagless fit!

Poor Fit with Tags

I have worn these tees for years. They are quite comfortable, wash well, and don't hold stains. However the former tagless design has been replaced with one that has two big tags at the neckline. I will probably not buy any more of them for that reason. I ordered three of them and they arrived loose in a mailer with no sanitary packaging at all. Another reason I won't buy more.

Big uncomfortable tags sewn in at neckline.
