I just picked up a bunch of these t-shirts. They are made of durable and high quality cotton. Very breathable. I don't feel hot wearing them at all, and I get hot in most other clothes. I recommend buying a size up, because these will tighten up in hot water wash and in the dryer. These have tags, but they are easy to remove.

It's true that these could be a little softer. However, in my experience, softer means less durable. I'd rather have more durable and a little less soft.

Overall, very happy with my purchase. Kudos to hanes for making an affordable, high-quality and durable t-shirt.

durable and high-quality

Hanes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband needed XL shirts that weren't thin. I typed xl t shirts in the search bar and found these and they are great.

walmart.com

I 've owned this 'type' of Hanes T-shirt for years. Bought several at a time - several times. The previous ones were always 'tagless' - these are NOT tagless. Furthermore - the cotton in this batch is much stiffer than previous batches - even after laundering with fabric softener.

Not as good as they used to be...

The fatigue green color is really nice. Love the color. It also feels a bit different than the other colors. I would say maybe stiffer, able to hold shape more, almost feeling thicker. It also runs a tiny bit smaller than the blue and black shirts I've purchased.

Collar construction in thin end of acceptable. Tall sizes are desperately needed, especially in the 4x-6x range, where natural fiber shrinkage, even washed cold and line dried shortens the cut of the waistline to exposing fat stomachs.

You have a blindsight for the Tall in Big and Tall

There's too much inconsistency in manufacturing. Various lengths, width in the shoulder, neck circumference, and fabric quality are all present within the same color shirt ordered at the same time. I'm sure some are from different runs than another but that shouldn't make a difference in size. Yes, the tags can be ripped out. But why not make them without tags? Hanes used to sell some pretty nice plain t-shirts that were tagless and with consistent sizing.

Inconsistent product. No quality control

Stiff, not enough polyester in them, so they don't stretch well. If they do stretch, they don't retain their shape. At least they were cheap.

Not worth the (small) price I paid

First, the quality of these shirts is amazing for the price, actually, it's amazing period. The issue I have is that they aren't sized right. I'm a big guy, I bought "big and tall". The issue is that they are both "big" and "tall" not either or. I was hoping this issue would not be so glaring when I got them but unfortunately it is. Hey Hanes, this may be news to you, but not all "tall" guys are fat, and not all "fat" guys are tall. This is why other brands have XLB and XLT sizes. In case you don't understand that "extra large big" and "extra large tall".

Hanes needs to rethink their big and tall sizes.

I wore this shirt 1 time and the color already faded .Let me repeat that. I wore this shirt 1 time and the color has faded. No more for me the quality has also seem to faded

Sad sad sad.

The sleeves were really strangely shaped and oddly attached - the bottom of the sleeve was way down the body of the shirt, well below the underarm area, and there was a fabric bulge in the shoulders when I held my arms straight out. In addition, the fabric was completely different than that used on previous versions of this shirt that I already own, and was not a nice-feeling fabric at all. Over the past couple of years, quality of t-shirts and underwear has greatly declined, and product is totally inconsistent from one order to the next and made in many different countries - I probably won't be ordering again.

T-shirt was very poorly made - I returned it
