I've worn Haynes cotton underwear for 65 years. It's always been the best most comfortable best wicking  underwear I've ever experienced. There aren't none that can compare.

The Best

These T-Shirts are 100% cotton and I use them for sleeping in. I am 5'4 and they fit like a shortie nightgown. I suffer with night flashes and these shirts have a cooling and wicking factor that works! The size L is a 43 chest and I never had shrinkage with these before.

They are not the same quality from past years.   They become full of holes after 6 washes.   We just bought another value pack and boom holes.   Very different and disappointed.

Shirts are rough feeling. They shrunk some after the first wash in cold water. Thought that the rough feeling would dissipate after a few washes, but have not.

Some what disappointed

I have been buying Hanes underwear for the boys forever. Lately the undershirts have had minor defects right out of the package and they haven't held up well. I used to be able to pass them down to the younger child. I purchased two packages of men's undershirts directly from the Hanes website and have included a picture of the shoulder of one shirt, right out of the package.

These were perfectly comfortable and looked fine (basic cut, but symmetrical and no puckering). They were also very white, which was nice. Purchased in late December, now in late January after 2 wash cycles, 2 of the ten have holes in the arm pit area. I've no reason to believe I'm especially hard on shirts. Indeed, the other set of undershirts in my rotation are about 5 years old at this point. So these Hanes shirts just don't seem to be made well enough to do the job they're intended for.

Usable (just) and far too briefly

My husband has about 50 of this exact shirt from over the years and for Christmas he wanted new ones so he could throw out the old. Very disappointed in the quality and was able to return 2 of the bags I purchased but unfortunately since i opened one of the bags so he could try them on they would not accept it as a return.

Quality is not how it used to be

Hanes used to make high quality white men's t-shirts, but they have switched designs and are using very thin materials. The neck design is poor, too thin, and the t-shirt has no body. When my wife washed them, she noticed how thin they were. I recently purchased Gildan soft white men's t-shirts, and I found them to be vastly superior.

Hanes, revert to your older designs and make them in the USA!

These black labeled shirts are rough, scratchy and made of a different kind of cotton it seems than they used to be. The old style with the red label on the back of the neck were incredibly comfortable and soft. Even though both tshirts say 100% cotton they are entirely different shirts. Had to go to my local Belks to find the old red labeled ones that are still just as wonderful as I remembered them. It may have a pic of the red label but they will ship inferior black label shirts to you.

Terrible compared to what they used to be.

I wear a white Haines  T-shirt every single day. I am 40 and have been doing this since i was in my teens.  The absolute drop in quality is herendus. Hanes ought to be ashamed of what they have done. I ordered the same t-shirts and replaced them regularly however the batch that I just got were so thin you could read a book through them and although they say they are comfort and soft they are scratchy and absolutely wretched. I hope with everything that I could muster that this is a one-off and not Is the new normal. I will absolutely never buy another t-shirt from this company again if this continues. I will tell everyone I meet for the rest of my life to not buy any product from hanes.
