I 've owned this 'type' of Hanes T-shirt for years. Bought several at a time - several times. The previous ones were always 'tagless' - these are NOT tagless. Furthermore - the cotton in this batch is much stiffer than previous batches - even after laundering with fabric softener.

The fatigue green color is really nice. Love the color. It also feels a bit different than the other colors. I would say maybe stiffer, able to hold shape more, almost feeling thicker. It also runs a tiny bit smaller than the blue and black shirts I've purchased.

This tee is Texas Ranger Blue so it matches well with other Ranger merch. Love that!
The shirt does shrink on the first wash so calculate that in when you purchase. The shirt comes out of the dryer a bit wrinkled. I used wrinkle spray which was OK but I still ironed for the best look.

The color and fabric are great, but the cut seems to be more of a slim fit than a general one, and while that may be great for many of your younger customers, it's tight for some of us older ones. And going up a size doesn't help in my case; the Large is too large. Believe me, I'd love to drop a few pounds to a slim fit size, but for now your Ts are a tight squeeze.

Medium T-shirts Are a Tight Squeeze

First, the quality of these shirts is amazing for the price, actually, it's amazing period.  The issue I have is that they aren't sized right.  I'm a big guy, I bought "big and tall".  The issue is that they are both "big" and "tall" not either or.  I was hoping this issue would not be so glaring when I got them but unfortunately it is.  Hey Hanes, this may be news to you, but not all "tall" guys are fat, and not all "fat" guys are tall.  This is why other brands have XLB and XLT sizes.  In case you don't understand that "extra large big" and "extra large tall".

Hanes needs to rethink their big and tall sizes.

The colors are spot on. I got about six of these, yellow, light blue, deep green and purple. The darker color are very coarse and stiff, even after three times through the wash along with wearing. The sizes are not uniform, some are way too large, and others fit well. The lighter colors fit better, I don't know why but that is my experience.

Hit and Miss on Fit and Feel

Scratchy and not soft as I would expect. Shirt feels to be made from less than 100% cotton and it feels stiff. I cannot put my finger exactly on what is different from other shirts I have. Shirts for me had to definitely be washed prior to wearing. I tried one without washing and I had a small reaction under my arms. I washed them all but just not sure. The colors are great, I got almost all the colors. Bright and vibrant, just unsure if it is the dye or material that is/was irritating.

Unhappy

I ordered six shirts... two light gray, two medium gray, and two dark gray.  The material was different in all three pairs, and they were differing degrees of stiff and scratchy, not the soft cotton as expected.  I won't wear them, even after washing.  Beware the cheapest Hanes T-shirt.  I really don't think Hanes should sell them.

No Stars

Disappointed.
For a 100% cotton shirt this sure is stiff and scratchy. The crew neck also puckers where it's sewn into the shirt. This after just one wash. I haven't even worn the shirt. Not sure I'm going to. Plus ordering direct from Hanes wasn't any better than a retailer. In fact after getting my order confirmed, and then waiting for delivery I was told one item wasn't available. Why then was I allowed to order it? Weird.

Disappointed

These shirts are terrible. I expected them to be soft and well tailored like the regular tables t-shirts that I buy in packages of 6 and 12 but they are not the same. these shirts are cut differently so they fit like a cardboard box. The cotton is a very low grade cotton that is very coarse and scratchy. the cut is very boxy. They were supposed to be tagless but came with big tags. These are awful shirts, and are nothing like the soft tagless white shirts in the multi packs. I would give these zero stars if that were an option. Don't waste your money on these.

Horrible scratchy, boxy shirts
