[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's difficult to find the pants I needed for my husband.  He needed ease of getting them off and on with a minimal effort.  I can't always be close by to help him so the wide legs, elastic waistband with drawstring is perfect!

Fit perfectly, but I wish they would post more details such as waist, hip, length -- I did hem them, but figured I would have to do that.  It was my best guess on waist and hip inches. Bought three pair -- they will serve me as my winter pants.  Nowhere to go anyway, and the fabic is just right for backyard exercise.  Thank you, Hanes!

Love Hanes Essentials Men's Cotton Jersey Pants!  They are so comfortable!  They last for years; this was my third time buying some in the last six to eight years; terrific quality.  I highly recommend them to anyone looking for comfort quality.  And did I mention great prices?!

Really pleased with this purchase! Like many in the pandemic I slipped into easy clothes around the house and what is easier than 100% cotton knit drawstring pants with pockets???  I made a commitment to my doctor in May that I would start a regular exercise routine and now am walking 6 days a week (didn't mean to be quite that committed)!  Needed some new walking pants and they have to have a pocket --- love that the pockets on these are generous and I can carry my phone without worry.  Love the comfort and easy care of 100% cotton knit. The price sealed the deal.  I'm wearing them to walk . . . they don't need to be a fashion statement.  These are so comfortable, do not feel at all "cheap" and do exactly what I need them to do.  They are a light weight cotton knit, so if you're looking for something a little heavier, you may want to continue to browse.  But these are fine for the need.

Great Quality and Value

Hanes quality as compared to other "generics"?  No comparison.  Bravo Hanes!  100% cotton too!  Heavy enough to last long and for cooler weather.  Legs length ran a bit long for me but that may "just be me" too.  Maybe I'll grow into them a bit since I'm only 71.

Hanes = Quality.  Glad to finally find some.

The fabric is not as soft as i would have expected. We washed and dried them once and they were a bit softer. (I know the are not knit) My husband likes them and wears them! He likes the fact that there us NO fly, no gaping when sitting or walking.

A bit stiff

I have purchased these before. I like them well enough, but I have to get a 3X size for my @X body. The pants shrink when washed and dried, even at low heat.

Way larger than I expected. If you are a Medium definitely order the Small size. Also, the string is basically useless. You can't tie it unless you cut it into two pieces (Its a single long string).

I was disappointed that there were loose threads at the bottom hem of each leg. As I wanted a medium size, the the inseam is so long that I was walking on the hem and stressing the fabric.

Too Long

Was looking for Haines Ultimate Sweat Pants, this item came up from the search.  Expected the material to be sweat pant material. This material is like thin stretch  denim that wont strech. Does not deserve the Hains label much less Ultimate. How this is included as a sweat pant is beyond me, the only simularity is the elastic waste band.
