Lightweight

Great sweatshirt. Ordered one for my oldest daughter to hang out in. The quality is great and the shirt is really heavy weight. We ordered a large and it is really large! If I ordered it again, I would probably order a men's medium. She is 160 lb and the shirt is really big, but that's okay. We like them big. Thank you.

Great quality and warm sweatshirt.

Hanes

This sweatshirt quickly became a go-to favorite thanks to its soft, brushed interior and just-right weight that feels cozy without being bulky. The fit strikes a nice balance-relaxed enough for lounging but still sturdy enough to wear out-while the fabric holds its shape and color after multiple washes. Details like the smooth seams and ribbed cuffs add to the overall comfort.

Comfortable and right sized

I've bought several of these, some zip-front, too. I LOVE the high cotton fiber content - something hard to find nowadays and, if you can find it, the sweatshirt is so unaffordable. They are, in my opinion, not the heaviest weight I've had, but they are certainly are NOT flimsy, thin things... they have a certain amount of bulk or beefiness. I think they run a bit large, but not too much - I don't think enough to order a size down. Besides, we don't like snug sweatshirts. I didn't notice any shrinkage after washing+drying (cold wash+rinse, medium/perma-press heat dry) Perfect for what we wanted, and reasonably priced! Very happy with these ultimate cotton sweatshirts.

Cotton!

Best crewneck for the money! Classic style, not faddishly slim cut- but also not oversized and sloppy. I have ordered Hanes products time and time again in many colors. This heavyweight crewneck is sturdy and has a clean aesthetic that makes it perfect for wearing with sweatpants, jeans or chinos. Great by itself for cool fall days and layering under coats in winter. Hanes crews are essential and stay in my daily rotation. They do not shrink or fade.

Best crewneck for the money!

Warm, thick, durable and good fit. Great for outdoor events. Excellent quality and value can't beat the price.

Great Sweatshirt

The sweatshirt is super comfortable and relatively warm when you first take it out of packaging, but it shrinks a little after a wash and loses a bit of its softness. I tried to follow the wash instructions as best as possible, but I wish it could maintain its initial shape after the wash.

Comfortable and decent for price

I've been buying Hanes Ultimate Cotton Heavyweight sweatshirts for years. These are nothing like those I purchased just a year ago. They are no longer "heavyweight", and in fact, they weigh roughly 3/4ers what last year's model weigh - and that older sweatshirt has been worn and laundered at least a dozen times.

This is equally true of the Hanes Men's Ultimate Cotton Heavyweight Full-Zip Sweatshirts except the new hooded, full-zip models weigh only 2/3rds of what last year's version weighed.

I should have more careful with the older sweatshirts because I'll never buy another one of these new Hanes Men's Ultimate Cotton Heavyweight Sweatshirts.

Not What They Once Were

The first sweatshirts were too large; so I returned them for an exchange for mediums. Unfortunately, Hanes does not exchange merchandise; instead, they offer refunds. The customer has to, then, order the replacement items, which I did. I am waiting for the medium sweatshirts.

Slow Turnaround

The heavyweight sweatshirts are getting lighter. They used to be a heavy canvas type of material and now they are thinner and less warm than the old heavyweight shirts

Heavyweight Shirts Not so Heavy

It doesn't feel like cotton. It feels like some kind of rayon. Hardly what I'd want on a cold evening. It was a waste of money!

The sweatshirt doesn't feel like a sweatshirt!
