I tie dye. These are my go-to for dying as they are tough, comfy, warm and take color well. Sizes run true. The pullovers are great too. Buy without hesitation.

Love this!

Hanes

Best Christmas purch this year..glad I bought it!

The sweatshirt is just wonderful. It is very well made and heavy duty. The inside is very soft. The zipper works fine. I'm sure this will be a favorite garment of my husband's for years to come. I can always count on Hanes to have high quality clothing.

Great sweatshirt

I am "multi-dimensional" when it comes to being a consumer of all types of Hanes men's clothing--from socks, to underwear, to T-shirts, to sweatpants, and to hoodies (both medium and heavyweight!). Most people would wear hoodies outdoors and I do as well; however, I keep my indoor thermostat set at 60 degrees in the colder months on a steady basis to save on heating costs here in northeast New Jersey and, when necessary, I wear both the Hanes medium weight and heavy weight hoodies together at the same time to keep warm. This Hanes heavyweight hoodie is of a nice weight, its quality zipper is strong and smooth operationally speaking, and the hood part of the jacket is very comfortable to wear due to its generous sizing. Wash after wash, Hanes hoodies and other Hanes items I have purchased seem to maintain their sizing with little or no shrinkage. I am always happy with the fast/quality delivery of my Hanes.com orders as well and the knowledge that the Hanes product specialists are always willing to share with me over the many years.

Just what I would have expected from Hanes.com!

Nice heavyweight zippered hoodie. I have bought 5 of them so far. The colors and fabric are very nice. They launder beautifully. I bought two for son, two for grandson and one for me. Hanes doesn't make heavyweight zippered hoodie for women, so I bought men's small size for me. I laundered mine in warm water and put in warm dryer to shrink it a bit. It is still big on me but it keeps me warm on cold mornings if I layer with flannel shirt underneath.. I am a petite female 5;1", 105 pounds.

Good quality zippered hoodie

I've been buying these for years, they are sturdy, well-made and very nice, although the quality of the cuff ribbing has deteriorated over the years, every time I buy one it's a little more obvious that Hanes is going with the cheapest vendor they can instead of sticking to quality. Also, they're the only brand I've found that I can afford that is mostly cotton. I buy them to dye, mostly, although I am partial to navy blue, too. WHY don't you have them in light blue anymore? You were constantly sold out, every time they were restocked you ran out again really fast... this should be a hint that you should stock more of them, not stop carrying them!!

Sadly, no more light blue available anywhere

I bought this about a month ago, got the dark gray one because it had less cotton and was less likely to shrink. Fit perfectly and looked great right out of the package.
I have worn it 3 times, still have not washed it. The cuffs are pilling and fraying already! NOT at all happy with this. I will continue to wear it to the gym and as a warmup layer for outside runs, but that will be about it. Afraid to wash it, but that will have to happen this weekend.
Thanks a lot,Hanes.

Looked great at first, but...

What the heck?! This is the least comfortable hoodie I have ever tried on. I bought one for myself and each of my 2 adult sons and we were all shocked at how rough and stiff the fabric feels, even after washing and machine drying. I find the zipper install irksome, as the seam on each side of it sticks forward instead of laying flat. The "comfort" boxer briefs were enen worse. I don't know if we'll ever buy Hanes again, despite decades of purchases.

Stiff fabric

I am sorry to say, but the hoodie I got from Hanes (an on-line purchase) was not stitched up quite right in the wrists area (see photo).

missed stitching...

Very bad quality with bad zipper and doesn't look like NEW at all!

Very bad quality
