I purchased two pair in different colors.  Tried on one when the order arrived and the fit was good.  A couple days later, I was going to wear the other pair and they fell to my ankles.  WAY larger than the pair I tried.  I don't know if they were tagged incorrectly or a manufacturing defect since I've heard that there are likely multiple manufacturing sites.  I have re-ordered and returned the too large pair.  Hoping the replacement will be ok since I ordered a matching hoodie.

Previously bought, loved, lasted until finally needed to replace.  Ordered from tag in product and felt I couldn't go wrong.  I'm sure their new size chart had been made to fit elephants.  Attached picture shows how much larger the same size is now.  There is a Hanes store within an hour from me and I will return them there.  I love the comfort, non-fading and durability of this product and it seems the only way to replace is to try them on.  (I don't think it will let me add photo.)

Sizes are totally non-standard.

Open legged straight cut is just what I was looking for with these Hanes sweatpants. Such a trusted brand, it was an easy ‘ad to cart' for me. I chose to size down for myself so I had more hip hugging style that I like, to avoid the saggy crotch. I would love a pocket, but beggars can't be choosers.

I ordered accordingly to size chart. medium. I have had same sweatpants before. They arrived and are huge. Perhaps a large or bigger. Definitely not a medium. Too bad I altered them. I should have returned. showing o photo that I took them in just to get them down to size medium. Should have returned or donated.

While these sweats are constructed well, they run WAY TOO BIG!!!!  I am 5'5", 195 lbs and ordered a Large...they are HUGE!!!  If I were to order again, I'd get a medium...maybe even a small.  They are so big they slide down and drag the ground.  I'm only wearing them to work at home so I won't bother returning, but if you're going to try them, just know you can size down AT LEAST one size.

WAY TOO BIG

I bought it because they were on sale, and I love purple. I've worn them 2 days, and they already have a hole in them. I haven't done anything strenuous in them, the most they've stretched is me putting my left leg up in my office chair. Very disappointed.

Save your money.

I have been looking for this for this pair of pants for a long time. I bought a pair at Gabe's and have worn them out!  Thanks to Hanes, I have a new pair of the exact same pants that I can wear for another 10 years!  Loose fit, comfortable, and I roll the waist band down so that they are not high waisted!  Five stars, no doubt!

I had a pair of these pants that lasted FOREVER!

I love these sweats - they are comfy and hold up for a long time, a few of mine have held up more than five years! I have every darker color. I buy them oversized and wear them in the winter over leggings or pajamas when I want to feel extra comfy and snuggly. Their only downfall? No pockets. I've tried the men's sweats with pockets but the fit is not as comfy. Women deserve pockets, too, Hanes!!!

The pants run a little big, as it is relaxed fit. The description say open bottom legs, which does not match the picture. Instead the bottom legs are very wide and looks more like I am wearing a dress than a pair of pants. The wideness of the leg will allow you to drape the leg over a very wide boot and not see any bulge. Each leg has only one seam, so you can not alter the pants in any way. So if you don't mind a very wide leg, these pants might be for you! For me, the picture does not match the actual pants, so I am only giving it two stars.

I was lucky and found these sweatpants on sale, otherwise, I probably would not have purchased them.  I just wanted some basic sweats to wear around the house and these work just fine.  They are fairly comfortable, although the material is a little on the thinner side, and I would say they are true to size.  I wanted the open bottom leg and these were just right.
