Comfy long sleeve t-shirts

As I told my daughter, these are far and away the best T-shirts I've found, regardless of price.  They're 100% nice soft cotton, feel great against the skin, and have a nice shape (tailored in a bit for the waist so not just boxy).  They are also a great price; I've paid alot more for alot less.  Now, I've only bought the white.  It would be lovely if there were some nice colors, but the ones on offer weren't appealing.  Regardless, I'll keep buying the white!  I did read other reviews and ordered large, whereas I'd otherwise have ordered medium.  And they fit great; I like clothes with a little room.

Best T-shirt quality anywhere

Hanes

I purchsed 5 of these long sleeve T's in XL. Idid not want them over sized  but I wanted to allow for minor weight fluctuations around my waist.  They are true to color and fit my torso with room to spare just in case. I like them but I do have an issue with the sleeves. They are  a little too long but I can turn them under or over. My issue is the area from my shoulder to my elbow  fits snuggly, which I dislike. It feels like a size large sleeve was attached to a size XL body. I don't want to exchange them for a 2XL because the body of the T would definitely be too large. I'll have to do upper arm exercises to reduce the circumference of my arm. In the meantime, I hope washing them in cold water and line drying them keeps them (the upper arm areas) from shrinking.

They are keepers anyway.

Good low-cost cotton T's. Have purchased several times. Too bad they no longer stamp the logo inside the back. The tags and stitching are scratchy and irritate my skin.

Good basic T

I bought 4 of these shirts: blue, red, pink, and purple. I have been a long time Hane's shopper, and I always get size small.  They were very comfortable.  This time, the blue and red one fit as good as before, but the pink and purple are too tight.  It turned out that the blue and red ones were made in South America, but both of the too tight ones were made in Cambodia.  I gave the too tight ones to the Good Will.  So I didn't waste money.
A family friend who used to work in one of the big name design houses said that Hane's should make sure that the design specs are translated correctly to the local clothing factories.
Hope this review will help Hane's to get back to consistent quality.  It is after all my favorite brand.

Fabric is soft and comfortable, as a 5'10 150lb woman I usually shop for men's shirts because they are longer but I decided to purchase these. I first ordered large but my stomach showed when raising my arms. I ordered more in xlarge. Women's shirts seem to go wider. Short and obese???? what about us tall and slender women???

Soft

Wore once.  Washed and dried as instructed and it shrunk.  Glad I only wasted $7 for a one time wear!  The entire shirt shrunk two inches all over, length, width, sleeves.   Won't buy this again.  If you buy, buy it two or three sizes larger than you need and it might fit after laundering.   Purchased two shirts, both the same size.  Picture shows laundered shirt on top of the other that hasn't been worn yet.

Be prepared for it to shrink.  ALOT

I bought these shirts for an organization and took them to the screen printers still in the package.  I wear Hanes a lot and have never had an issue. When I picked up the shirts and tried mine on, it was way too tight! Everyone had the same problem.  I ordered short sleeve shirts at the same time and they are Great! Included in the pictures is a short sleeve green shirt and a long sleeve black shirt. Both size XL. We lined up the collars and you can see the difference at the shoulders. That difference is on both sides.
I am so disappointed! Now I have to order new shirts and pay for the screen printing again.

Run VERY Small!

These T-shirts are nothing like the original ones I thought I was getting. They are very thin fabric and are very, very small! I ordered a medium that I wear in almost everything. These were more than skin tight and unwearable. They went straight into the donation bin!
