It's soooo nice to have something made out of cotton vs. synthetic. It's super soft and comfortable.  Pricing was good also.  Would like more shape to it instead of a boxy fit, but I'm more concerned about the material and craftsmanship.  Thanks Hanes for not dropping your quality a ton like your competitors are doing.

T-shirts are very nice.  After reading the reviews though I bought mine 2 sizes larger than what I normally wear.  It worked fine - they were just right - I don't like clingy fabric so they just fit like a good old cotton t-shirt!  Will purchase again.  Note: the V neck is pretty large, larger than I'm used to, but a smaller tank fits nicely under it.  I bought in 3 colors and like them all.

These are my go to top for wearing during the week at home. I have it in a bunch of colors. It's not too heavy, so I can wear it in all but the hottest Texas temperatures. Tuck it in and add some bling to make it less casual, wear it under a jacket or blazer. Or do as I do... throw it on with jeans.  The colors are nice and vibrant and don't fade much.

I've purchased Hanes t-shirts many times and I always return to stock up. This style for me seems to be slimmer in the sleeves than I like. The sewn tag on the inside neckline has sharp corners that poke my skin. I had to remove it on all the t-shirts. For these two reasons I removed 1 star.

I removed a star because…

I bought a medium because that's what fits with most brands and the men's T-shirts are so big.  Well, this is the "old" medium, from the days before most of us put on some extra pounds.  I hope it doesn't shrink.  I like the shirt and think it's quality is good.  The V-neck is great.

No size inflation here

I have been the same size for 15 years. I have purchased these shirts for several years. Don't be so cheap and add the fullness back into the sleeves. They're tighter than I like. Don't skimp just to make a buck. I'd pay an extra buck or two to have something that fits.

I bought a couple of these shirts at the Hane's store and I was pleased with the fit.  So much so that I came home and ordered more in every color, especially black for everyday wear.  The shirts were made in two different countries, Honduras and Bangladesh.  The shirts from Bangladesh are shorter than the shirts made in Honduras by 1-1/2 inches which makes a big difference in the fit when you have an apple shape.   I ordered XXL to make sure they would be loose fitting and long enough to cover the stomach.  Unfortunately, they do not.  This would be a perfect T-Shirt if the length was extended to 18 - 20 inches. A 15-1/2 length just doesn't coincide with an XXL size. I measured other T-Shirts that I have in an XXL size and the shirt lengths range from 18" to 20".  Please take a look at this Hanes and extend the length so that I can make your T-Shirts my favorites.  I also bough several of the short sleeve shirred T-Shirts and the length is perfect.

Long-Sleeve V-Neck T-Shirt

Material is 90% cotton, 10% polyester. Website lists material as just "cotton" but that is not true. See photo. I double checked that I had received the correct product number 09142. Sleeves were also too tight for me but I would not have kept it even if it did fit since I can't stand polyester. It's so hard to find 100% cotton nowadays, the least you can do is update the product listing to be accurate. Save customers the frustration of buying something that's not as expected. And please bring back 100% cotton basics!

The excess of material used for the sleeves that would help Gumby, could have been used for the length of the shirt. The quality of these Hanes shirts is not what they used to be. I will not be purchasing again. Definitely not worth the price.
