Though I've tried many other brands of leggings over decades, Hanes' leggings have always been the very best. They fit beautifully, are super comfy, wash and wear well, and they are long lasting while still looking good. They are a great value for the price.

My only complaint is that they only come in two colors. I wish they also had navy, brown and tan. Printed versions would be interesting also.

The Best Leggings Ever

I LIKE these leggings.
The material is substantial, NOT form fitting for my 5'3, 110 lbs. frame, in size M, comfortable waist elastic that does not smother me, a little longer than I need, but okay. More like slim fitting pants which is EXACTLY what I was hoping for and got when I tried them on today after delivery! PERFECT! Thanks to the other reviewers who also liked them and preferred the looser fit of these "pants"/leggings.

I love these leggings as pajama bottoms in the winter.  They stay put and actually keep me cozy.  The high cotton content means I don't get too hot.  The fabric is thick enough so that if I were younger, I would definitely wear them out in public, but that is not going to happen at age 69.

Great basic leggings.

These leggings fit like they were made for me, I own several pairs, mostly black and a couple gray.  I decided to trust the sizing in their women's sweatpants, bought the same size in those, and they fell right back off of me.  I had no way to return them, so I gave them away.  It would be really good if this problem didn't happen, makes me not trust the sizing enough to buy anything else from Hanes that I don't already know will fit.

I wanted leggings that weren't skin tight and I bough these in extra large. they fit as expected. I wish they had been petite but will wear my boots over the extra material. I wanted to experience leggings for the first time and not spend much money. They are constructed as expected, not missed seams or irregularities. They are fairly thick.

fit as expected

I was looking to replace some of my go to black leggings that have lasted for the last 5 years. I ordered a 2XL and as with most things there was piling at the thighs. I know this happens but I was hoping to get more than one wear out of them before I felt like the fabric was going to disintegrate.

Not the everyday legging replacement I wanted

These are okay for me. I take walks in them. I wouldn't wear them anywhere that I'd need to look presentable. I'm not even sure I would run to the grocery store in them. They are obviously cheap. Not falling apart or anything, just not super well-made. The crotch ends up going low between my legs, which I hate. I can't see myself wearing them any longer than for my morning walk.

Okay for exercise

I have been wearing the Hanes Jersey Cotton leggings for almost six years. Three stars because the feel and texture of the fabric of the leggings changed between the pandemic and now. The pre pandemic leggings were super soft. Now, they feel rougher. I use them for work. I will keep them. They are ok. I am hoping Hanes will go back to the previous fabric.. Please~ Thank you! Hanes Cotton Jersey Leggings

Very unhappy with these leggings, of which I purchased several. I am 5'4”, 122 lbs. The leg seam twists around my calf as I walk, and the waistband is uncomfortably narrow; digging in to my waist. 
Poorly made. Same goes for the bike shorts that I also purchased.
This was my third time buying both products, and this last was most disappointing. Never again.

Disappointing quality

The item was not at all what I expected or used to be. Hanes used to have a leggings that was my favorite because the material was soft and long lasting. These new ones I ordered were of extremely poor quality and the material is not-stretchy at all. I had to return them.
