I'm 84 years old and don't like to shop anymore. It's so disappointing to go shopping and not find the product I'm looking for. I wear size 5 cotton hipster panties and order them from Hanes.com....perfect fit! WOW....sure saved me a lot of time and effort to find exactly what I wanted and they just show up at my door.

I love shopping on Hanes.com website

Hanes

Over the many years I have been purchasing these and similar panties from Hanes, I have watched the quality diminish. Once upon a time, there were covered waistbands and better binding on the leg openings, along with more substantial double crotches. Also, the fabric feels a bit thinner.

They're still a good choice.

alas, they don't make 'em like they used to

I was surprised at how comfortable they are. After reading all the reviews I decided to go up a size and am glad I did. I do wish that they would bring back the comfort waistband. That was the most comfortable part of these. But this other waistband isn't too bad. I am ordering more since my old ones are a little worse for wear.

Comfortable and finally got a good fit.

The sizing is inconsistent. These were tight and cut into my skin while the other underwear from Hanes was loose.

Inconsistent sizing

There's nothing wrong with the hipsters I bought, really. The sizing is off a little. But I was hoping they would be like my ooold pairs. These are not like them. My old pairs had a covered elastic band on the top and legs and were sooooo soft and 'forgiving'...almost like t-shirt material. PLEASE go back to that make and material. These are good but not as lofty as those. Those were also called 'hipsters' back then (about 5yrs ago) but the new hipsters fit NOTHING like the old ones. These fit more like bikinis almost. These just aren't what I was hoping for.

Hmmmmm

May have been okay if they fit right. Ordered the size I've worn for many years and even after losing 20 pounds, they were too small. Not sized correctly. I had to return them.

Not Sized Correctly

One Hanes Place

Unfortunately after wearing these a few times, multiple pairs had stitching fall out in all different areas. Disappointed they didn't last longer like the bikini style I have.

Disappointed

These fit fine when they arrived; however, they shrunk significantly after washing and no longer fit me. For reference I am 100 lbs and ordered a size 5. Should have ordered a size 6.

Shrinks so order up

I have always purchased Hanes Hipsters. I have not been able to find the cotton hipsters in any of my local stores so I ordered online - I am not a fan of the 'mesh'. The order process what fine but the size 7 that I purchased is smaller than all the size 7's that i have at home.

Cotton Hipsters

Fit smaller than normal, and definitely less breathable than previous version.
