We recently bought this model based on the really nice write-up on Consumer Reports.  The model lives up to the hype.  It has clean lines, and a sleek look.  The interface is intuitive, but most of all the fans are really powerful!  It runs great.

We finally got rid of our microwave over the cooktop!  We put on a new backsplash as well.  We couldn't be more thrilled with our purchase.  The hood has clean lines and looks great with our other stainless appliances. The only thing I would like to change if I could would be the handles for the grates.  If they were smaller or less obvious it would help with the look!!!  But it works so well!! Thank you!!!

I just installed my new vent hood from Huaslane about three weeks ago and loving it. This thing pulls everything and I mean everything there are a couple fruit flies flying around when I was cooking the other evening and it sucked them right up not only as the same powerful but it's super easy to install and looks great too. My wife has really bad allergies to mold and they're old microwave wasn't doing the trick anymore so we removed it installed this and not looking back

Quality hood. Easy to install. I really wanted an upgrade from the traditional circulating “hoods” sometimes found under cabinets. Very happy with the quality. Have only had a few months so only time will tell. Really like the removable grease baffles. The dual fans are powerful.

Quality material and power

I bought this exhaust fan about 1 month ago. I purchased it because my girlfriend is a chef and the exhaust fan we had didn’t cover the cooking surface nor did it remove steam and smoke with any efficiency. This exhaust fan outperforms with multiple fan speeds from two fans, LED lights, removable grease tray and grates. On top of that it is very beautiful.

Installation was straightforward, and the controls are simple and intuitive to use day to day. The build quality feels solid, and it looks great under the cabinet clean, modern design that fits well in the kitchen. Overall, this has been a great addition to my kitchen setup. Works exactly as advertised, and I'd buy it again.

Hauslane UC-PS18

I'm really happy with the Hauslane range hood. Compared with relying on the fan built into an over-the-range microwave, the difference is noticeable. The Hauslane hood has much stronger ventilation and does a better job of removing cooking odors, smoke, steam, and grease from the kitchen.

I also like having a dedicated range hood because the hood looks sleek, operates efficiently, and makes cooking more comfortable, especially when searing, frying, or preparing foods with strong aromas.

Overall, upgrading from an integrated microwave fan to a dedicated Hauslane hood was a great decision. It feels like a more professional kitchen setup, and the improved ventilation is something I appreciate every time I cook. Highly recommended for anyone considering the upgrade!

Much better than an Over the Range Microwave Fan

Product is solid and works well.  It fills desired space nicely and functions as advertised.  Buttons are easy to use and interface works well.  Lighting is more good and the BSS matches my kitchen nicely.  Only complaint it that it appears to scratch more easily that SS and I wish BSS was available at the time in the newer model.  With that said, I would purchase again.

Solid upgrade with minimal venting space

Haven't been able to install it. Not enough hands has lent itself to frustration so I've left it in the garage for when I grow additional arms. 
Im guessing it's a great product! I have successfully managed to put more random holes in my cabinetry whilst attempting to install it. Meh, life be like that sometimes. 
One day I shall have a working vent hood!
I have to give it 3 stars because it requires more than two arms 🤣.
Also, can't review what isn't installed.

Probably a Great Product!

The hood looks very nice but the fan is so noisy. It's like I'm flagging in jets into my kitchen. It's so bad and I'm extremely disappointed in the noise if it weren't for the fact that they're probably all noisy at this point my other one was not I had a braun Oven hood and it had 12 speeds to it and it was 60,000 times quieter than this So I'm extremely disappointed in the noise that the hood from the fan
