best knife i have ever bought.  balanced and the best handeling and felling in hand.  i am 77 and this knife passed the papper cut test.   sliced a tomato first and had never cut so thin and no smashing came out perfect shape and on drag .. i went back to order other pro type but wmt did not have any listed with same handel with same spects. but this knife is a steal for the price of 25 dollars range on sale.  i also sharpen all my own knifs.      ballanced.   great fell in hand.  and very shape.

Damascus knives usually cost in the $200 and up neighborhood, I was surprised to find this one for a really good price, plus it's 67 layer construction and the VG10 handle, same as my hunting knife,Nice knife are wonderful. It's a beautiful thing to look at, the blade is very stiff and super sharp, it just glides thru everything I've cut so far. It's also well reviewed by knife reviewers and a recommended buy. I'm not a professional chef, just home cook, it's the most money I've ever spent on a knife but after using it, I get it.

Nice knife

Bought this to replace our current one with cautious expectations since the price is quite reasonable compared with the Japanese knives in the market. To my pleasant surprise the knife looks really good and extremely sharp. The handle is also very nice. Don't know the durability of the knife with very limited use so far but we are satisfied with our purchase.

Great kitchen tool

I cook every day, lots of chopping veggys! 30 Years of cooking and this is the best knife I've owned. Who cares if it isn't real Japanese steel. snobs. My sharpening tools don't work, the slide and rod. Thinking of buying a wet stone to sharpen  old knifes, but for $26 just buy a new knife. LOL I hope it stays sharp for a long time. CAUTION! very sharp! It will shave your finger nails off!

Badass Knife!

I love the knife! As a person who grow up as a farmer and always carry bolo for most of my work and having a sharp tool makes things easier just like this knife. Probably the best knife for its price out there! I cant wait to gift my parents with the same knife.

I'm very impressed with this Damascus knife. The blade is extremely sharp right out of the box and the Damascus pattern looks beautiful. It feels solid and well-balanced in hand, and the handle has a comfortable grip. I've used it for cooking and light outdoor tasks, and it performs great. Packaging was good and delivery was fast. Definitely worth the price — I would buy again.

Impressive Blade for the Price

Incredibly sharp.  I was excited to take it out of the box, was careless and literally cut my finger through the plastic that covered the knife.  Hecef are among the highest rated mid-tier kitchen knives.  Got this one on incredible sale.  If you need a sharp (really) chef's knife, look no further.

Great, sharp kitchen knife

I'm a chef and i absolutely love these knives!! Make sure you sharpen with a wet stone. Do not use electric or slide through sharpeners and never put it in the dish washer. Very sharp and it holds its edge!!!

It came incredibly sharp, the handle fits smooth in the hand, the point/ tip is very sharp.  The steel seems to be of decent quality for the price and thin so it will be easy to sharpen in the future
