This is the best purchased for me memory foam mattress, it gas made it a better fit .
It was easy to assemble, but you will need an electric or battery operated screw driver, it helps because of the amount of screws included.

I really liked this bed box. It's exactly what I was looking for and the price is great as well. Most bed box I saw were a lot expensive and too big. It took me and my brother less than 20 minutes to assemble.

Happy with my purchase

This is perfect for my bed.  my previous was appx 12" high and it made my mattress way to high, I had to use a step stool and jump on my bed.  Now it is perfect I just slide right in.  Great product and very easy to assemble. I highly recommend.

Perfect height!

I bought a pillow top mattress and platform style bed then realized my old nine inch box spring was way too high.  Needed a ladder to get into bed.  Ordered this low profile mattress foundation and the bed height is now just right.  This foundation is made of solid pine and comes with heavy duty hardware with wrench included.  A lot of screws so have a power drill with Phillips driver bit handy or it will take hours to screw it together by hand.  I do think the price is a little bit high for what it is however, this well built foundation is going to outlast several mattresses.

Low profile mattress foundation

All pieces interlock perfectly when you perform assembly of this item. And the cover does a fairly good job of protecting the foundation. I would recommend that you assemble this item with a second person, as it is large and awkward to build. Probably a 10-15 minute job as opposed to a 30 minute job when you use an assistant.

Well machined functional product

This was a good buy.  Solid spruce frame with a low profile.  I have an old wood frame that is high to begin with, so adding a high profile box spring and high profile mattress meant I had to practically jump up onto the bed.  I switched the high profile box spring with this low profile one and it made a big difference. 

The frame is good quality wood.  The instructions lack detail, so you have to do some guess-work on putting it together.  The bolts and screws are metal (not plastic) so the frame is bolted together snugly with no squeaking.  My old box spring squeaked like crazy.  This one doesn't.

One issue I have is the cover.  I tried to put it on and it looked like it was the wrong size.  My wife took a look at it and said "it only covers the top and sides."  The bottom is not covered.  I guess it's not a big deal.

Solid Wood Frame That Doesn't Squeak

Getting old sucks! I had a high bed and was having issues getting on/off it. Then my husband purchased this spring for me and my bed has become a very restful place where I do not have issues with getting on/off it.
Highly recommend it for anyone with my issues...
The price is right and it only took 30 minutes to put together.
And to boot, it's made in the good old USA!

BOX SPRING KING SIZE

Delivered to home, took pieces upstairs for assembly, dropped it into bed frame and put the mattress back in.  Voila, mattress is now at correct height.

Perfect for our needs, easy to assemble.

My 97 year old mom was having trouble getting into her bed due to it being very high. I ordered this product and solved the problem. Assembly using a battery operated drill simplifies the assembly.  The item should be listed as foundation only because it has no springs.  

I am happy ! The price was reasonable and shipping prompt and to my house.

Low Profile Mattress Foundation Box Spring?

It is a little flimsy if you aren't putting it on a platform.
I put it on a full queen size platform so I don't have to worry about the 5/8" slats bowing.
Because I have a memory foam mattress I had to add 11 more slats.
You can't have more than 3" between slats. It comes with 10 slats and I added 11 more.

It's very easy to put together.

Well made

I was surprised when this item arrived. It came in a long narrow rectangular box and was very very heavy. Upon opening it I saw that it was unassembled - - lots of pieces of wood and a canvas to spread over the top I guess I should have read the description more carefully.  I had to help my son in law help me return it to a store. Ordinarily box springs are the lightest part of a bed - - not true here
