When I ordered this bed, I was pretty skeptical since I had ordered a bed from WalMart.com before and it was a horrible experience. However, I must say I am extremely happy with this purchase. This particular bed is a bit bigger than I expected. Even though it is a twin, you probably could fit 2 average sized people in the bed comfortably. It is also pretty high off the floor. I am 5'2 and with just an 8" top mattress, I can swing my legs back and forth without ever touching the floor. It was easy to set up and took about an hour but I did not like using the tools that the manufacturer supplied. It did come with some smudges on the white bed frame but they were easy to wipe off with some warm water and ammonia. All in all, it was a great purchase.

Good Decent Bed for the Price

Nice Bed

I would rate this bed as a perfect buy. The ONLY problem I have had is that a plastic cap broke off of the top foot rail, but so not the end of the world. It is sturdy. very fine looking and very comfy. It was for me, a 54 year old short, but heavy woman. I wondered when thinking of purchasing if it needed a box spring, it does not only a top mattress. I comes with a spring system itself. It is a wonderful bed and a GREAT price!! My 16 year old put it together by himself in a very short amount of time.

Excellent bed

I got this bed because I'm updating my daughter's room. After reading reviews and searching local furniture stores, I really didn't want to spend a lot of money on MDF. So, I chose this bed instead. I thought it would be cheap looking and cheap all together because of the price, but I was wrong.

It took about 30 minutes to put it together and I was scared something would be missing or damaged because the box was beat up pretty bad. However, the bed itself was perfect. All the parts were there, the instructions were easy to follow, and the finished product looks like I paid a fortune. I especially like the foundation. There are 4 bars that run down the middle (vs. slat supports or an unsupported foundation) and 2 support bars in the middle on the outside. The height off the floor is 12". Once I put the mattress on it is about 22" from the floor ( It looks taller) and perfect for a child's room.

My daughter is 9 and she loves her bed. I think this is a good bed to transition to. It is light and yet sturdy.

Great Bed for a Little Girl

in Europe these types of beds are quite common, they make sense and as long as you get a good mattress . . . all is well. It reduces the need/expense for a box spring.
I bought a 10" memory foam mattress to put on this. I did get thin board to place between the mattress and the bed (actually I used a heavy duty large moving box from Lowe's. I opened it length wise and it was perfect - attached in place with zip tie to prevent the mattress from moving/sliding)
The frame is study. It's easy to put together (I did it by myself with a little ingenuity). It is also easy to take apart.
The only thing I didn't like is that the center rod, extending from the bed to the floor does not sit properly. I don't know that it helps support the center frame as well as it should.

Twin Bed frame . . . no box spring needed . . .

The metal bed is nice but got the pink color and the picture it showed was alot lighter than it really is. But other than that it's a sturdy frame.

Nice bed frame

We purchased this bed to replace a Full-Futon in the guest room of our home for our 8 year old niece. This bed arrived in one box and partial assembly was required. It took my husband all of 15 minutes to assemble completely. The look is simple, streamlined and the bed is pretty lightweight. I would recommend this to someone on a small budget looking for a quick fix starter bed for a small child. I had to purchase a twin sized mattress, as the bed does not include one. Overall, I think my niece will be happy with the size and look of this bed on her next sleep over.

I purchases this bed for my daughter. It shipped quickly and set up was a breeze. However, there was a large dent on the head board and several rust discolored spots. I would have returned it, but needed something quickly.
