I've had this for a few months and couldn't be happier with it - lightweight but tough - I've accidently whacked it with tractor bucket and mower and you can't even tell! I went with dark green and despite being out in the sun all the time - no fading yet -- I'm considering another one for the trailer - just wish it were a little cheaper!

SmartPak

I bought this particular mounting block as an extra for the horse trailer and I couldn't be happier: sturdy, yet light to carry, compact for trailer storage, yet perfect to mount. I highly recommend this product.

Perfect Mounting Block

Love this mounting block, and so does my horse! It took a few rides for Leuk to become accustomed to standing next to it, but he learned rather quickly that it prevented Ms. Lady from tugging at his mane to mount! It's also a saddle-saver, as I found myself grabbing the cantle to mount, possibly damaging my saddle's tree. Light, sturdy, easy to grab and move, and the SmartPak folks had it shipped early from the manufacturer FOR FREE, as I had opted to include it with my monthly order. Just one of the many reasons I enjoy doing business with SmartPak.

Just what we needed!

Lightweight. Purple! Which is great all on it own! Top kinda looks in the photos like it opens up, but it doesn't. I'm not sure why it's made to look like it opens. None the less, nice block at an affordable price!  Not sure if it will fade in the sunlight because we haven't had it long enough. Looks like the serviceability will last a very long time.

Nice mounting block

Has worked great so far, very stable. It doesn't wiggle as I try to leap off it onto my moving horse. I got the grey color it looks very nice and is light enough to easily carry in one hand. Now if only my horse would stand still...

Very sturdy

I bought this block to store in my trailer. Perfect size and a beautiful royal blue color. It is light and easy to move around. Burlingham plastic is top of the line in durability. Nothing flimsy about this mounting block.

Perfect for my Trailer

I just got this for Christmas and I love it. It doesn't seem like it'll fall over or move as I'm getting on my horse. I've been walking the horse up to my back deck for two years and now I can bring it to my arena and hop on there!! It'll also come with me to shows. I got the grey color and it looks really nice. 

Perfect

I got this about 2 weeks ago, just as winter hit Ohio full force so I have only been able to use it one time so far. I can tell, however, that I will be very pleased with it and am actually considering, given the great price, ordering a second one.
I got mine in red and it is a great color, not a washed out, orange-y looking red like some are. It is lightweight, but not so light I worry about it collapsing or anything like that. Just light enough that it is very easy for me to move it around to put it away. It has a hand hold in the back to make it simple to lift and move.
I am thinking about ordering a second one to keep up in the arena instead of moving it back and forth, since the price is so much lower for how fine the product is. I had not expected this much quality for the price. Great product and comes in lots of colors!

2-Step Mounting Block

I find all the mounting blocks a bit pricey, but picked this one because I thought it had storage space and the top opened. It does not. It just appears that way in the picture. I would still recommend it as it seems solid enough to last a long time!

good for its use

My other one(don't know brand) was heavier and stayed put a little better up against the door going into living quarters oif gooseneck. This one will probably be durable and isn't smooth which I appreciated but is kinda lightweight and not quite as wide as I would like.
