Using for temporary cooking until I can afford a new stovetop...works great!

This is perfect for heating my candle-making wax.

Bought this for canning I just bought an induction range so I cannot do my canning on it. This allows me to do canning works well.

Hot plate double burner

It does exactly what's it's supposed to do. It heats up quickly and quietly.

I would've given five stars if the cord wasn't insanely short.

Works well, short cord

Today I was heating water for coffee. I heard a loud pop, saw sparks fly, then the cord burst out in flame. Nope, this company doesn't even deserve a one star. If I had gone out to tend the garden like I was on my way to do, my house would have caught fire! Don't buy any hot plate. This is the second company I have tried. The first one did the exact same thing and luckily I was present both times. Get yourself a propane camp stove. I cooked on one most of the first year living in this house. They say you can't use a propane camp stove indoors. Why? You can cook on a full-sized propane range indoors. Well, I did and it was safer and cleaner. You can't lift the burners to clean under them. Total waste of money.

Avoid wasting your money on this. It does not get hot enough to pan fry or stir fry. It constantly turns off. It also arrived dented. It also has poor heat distribution. Cheap and useless.

Useless

I plugged it in, and it almost caused a fire in my apartment. Smh. Definitely not what I expected. Very disappointed and concerned about the safety of this product.

Do Not Recommend

I have decided to return this hot plate 2 metal burners electric stove.
I didn't even turn it on. I saw that the wire to plug this stove into the wall has only 2 prongs... instead of three. For a 2000 w electric appliance, I understood why the wire was too short to plug into the wall from the cart to the plug. The fact that this is not grounded / prongs, I chose to not keep it.

Be informed; occasional usage only

This item is a terrible investment. To begin with, the numbered settings do not indicate a variable temperature of the elements. They simply indicate the percentage of time the burners will be red hot. the burners are simply on full bore or totally off. If you are cooking something such as oatmeal or rice that absorbs all the moisture, you will likely scorch if you are not watching it. That also makes it difficult to use high end waterless cookware as intended which requires a low setting once the pan is warm. But, worst of all, last night, when I turned it on, there was a terrific arc and sparks. Useless now and I've only been using it for a few weeks. Very disappointing.
