They taste like someone weaponized a cinnamon stick and said, “Yeah, make it chewy.” But somehow… I can't stop eating them. They're spicy, sugary, and just painful enough to make me feel alive.

Like a roller coaster for your mouth — terrifying, exhilarating, and you immediately want to do it again. 10/10. Would burn taste buds for fun again.

I've always loved the taste of cinnamon and hot tamales has been my go to candy for years. I'm 71 years old now and I can always count on wanting my grandkids giving me hot tamales as a gift because I know it will be loved! I like hot tamales because it has great flavor and They're not too hard to chew, in other words it won't break your teeth crunching into them to get to the flavor.

You can't go wrong with cinnamon my grandmother who was born in 1910 loved loved loved these. She had some at her house every time we went although it's got the red dye in it and a lot of sugar. It's still one of those treats from the past that, bring you back to the good old days now if they could put more nutrition in it, it would be great, but this is just a good sugar rush.

Hot Tamales in the theater box are the a great  classic for anyone who craves that bold, delicious hot cinnamon flavor. I'll admit, it always takes me a few candies to get used to the heat, but once that spice kicks in, they're  addictive. Just a heads-up: if you don't like a little fire in your snacks, these definitely are not for you.

Hot Tamales are my freaking jam!! 😋 Love that cinnamon 🔥! These are always fresh, chewy, and tasty. When I was little I ate a lot of red hots, preteen I graduated to Fireballs, tenns I deliscovered Hot Tamales. Never looked back.

They're smaller and not nearly as hot as I remember in my youth and the sugar shell's texture isn't as thick or crunchy(?) but they're still pretty yummy.

Not Quite The Candy Of My Day -Still Pretty Good

I rated down because this candy upset my stomach.  i only ate 2-4 pieces at a time but noticed my stomach became upset.  nothing wrong with product except too much sugar for me.

I purchased two boxes of Hot Tamales Cinnamon Chewy Candy, and I have to say, I absolutely love these candies when they're fresh. Both boxes had the exact same expiration date, which was still about three months away.

The first box was perfect — soft, chewy, fresh, and packed with that classic cinnamon flavor I've always enjoyed. Unfortunately, the second box was the complete opposite. The candy was extremely stale and so hard that it was basically unchewable. I honestly thought I might crack a tooth trying to eat a few pieces, so I ended up throwing the entire box away.

I'm giving 3 stars because the product itself is great when fresh, but the quality consistency between the two boxes was disappointing. I'm not sure if the second box had a packaging issue or was improperly stored somewhere along the supply chain, but it definitely was not fresh despite the expiration date still being months away.

Product was discolored,stale %26 hard as a rock. Old and disgusting. Usually they are good. I got a bad shopper who didn't read dates. This is the second time this has happened. 4 boxes of 🤮 yucky!

I have ordered the bags of  hot tamales before and they were delicious but these boxed ones have an oily fuel smell and taste to them.  I will not be ordering the box ones again.
