There is nothing not to like about those chairs. Very well made, sturdy and definitely looks like a high end chair. I got the unfinished/distressed wood color and I couldnt be happier, it looks simple/elegant. 
Assembly/instructions are not extremely detailed but it is manageable.

We are so happy with these chairs! They look like something from Pottery Barn but so much less expensive! Excellent quality, and comfortable, and once you get the first one figured out, the assembly is pretty straightforward. We DO recommend carefully drilling some pilot holes when you attach the seat - not sure why there are not any??  I also chose to hand tighten all the bolts/screws with the enclosed tool and a screwdriver -not a drill - just to be sure not to over tighten and risk splitting the wood. 
FYI, one chair (of four total) did have some damage when it arrived, so I ordered another set and returned the damaged set.  It was a bit of hassle but honestly worth it because these nice chairs are such a good price!

Very happy with these chairs!

I purchased 8 of the unfinished chairs and was surprised that the surface is very smooth and ready for varnish, maybe just a little wipe with a tack cloth. The chairs are very well made. You do have to line up the seat before you screw it in place, but overall they were extremely easy to put together.

Beware of High Gloss! I loved these chairs. After one day I saw every single fingerprint from my children. They would be perfect if they were in a matte finish. They were sturdy and comfortable but I cant deal with the smudges!!

Parents be aware!!

Ordered these inexpensive chairs online to go with a very expensive table we purchased at a for our new home. Thought for sure we'd be compromising on the quality. Not at all! These chairs are built solidly. And they look really nice. The only bad part is that they are a little heavy. We love them though.

Would highly recommend

Nice style and quality, especially for the money. I was hoping for more of a distressed look, but they are overall quite modern and very attractive. So really, the chairs are five stars, but this shipping error made me give them 4 stars.
I ordered two sets of chairs. One problem...one of the chair seats is shaped differently than the other 3. It is rounded on the back and doesn't fit flush into the back of the chair. My husband had to make new holes for the screw to fit and hold it together tight. It looks slightly different. I still have to call to get a new seat bottom to fix this problem because I ordered a very nice table and like the look of these chairs with it, but it is inconvenient to have to contact the company. But with spending lots on the table, I tried to go cheaper with the chairs, maybe it was a bad idea after all.

Sturdy, but one chair is imperfect.
