It's perfect as a telephone stand or even small end table if you have a small space. Looks taller in the picture, so make sure you check the measurements.

I am very happy with my "plant stand", which I am using as a small table, although it would hold even a heavy potted plant just fine. This is basically my favorite style of furniture, and since it's very simple, it is versatile. I agree with reviewers that a light stain might not look good on it, but I probably will paint it black, to go with my other furniture. One reviewer said that the holes did not match up, but I think they may have ignored the instruction not to tighten ANY of the bolts until the stand is totally put together. If you do that, the pieces have a good bit of wiggle room, and there should be no problem. I would advise you to use the ROUNDED end of the Allen wrench that is provided. I had never seen one made like that before, but I tried using the rounded end, and to my pleasant surprise, it made the job easier, because I didn't have to put the wrench straight into the bolt head; I could put it in at an angle, which was much easier! Live and learn. This stand is available elsewhere at $70, so I was very pleased at Walmart's price. And the 3 available heights enabled me to have a stand exactly the same height as something right next to it.

A small Mission-Style table at a great price!

Packaged very well; no missing parts.  Assembly was very easy.  Probably took me less than 15 minutes to put the stand together.   The wood is beautiful.  Perfectly sanded and ready for staining or painting if you wanted but the stand is perfectly pretty just bare wood.

Really sturdy and functional for any size plant and shelf is added bonus

Strong, sturdy little stand. I have my 5 gallon fish tank on it. Weight is 64 lbs and holds it no problem.

I needed a small table for my kitchen, this is perfect.  The 36" is perfect for every day but it is great to have the leaf so I can expand it to 42" if I need to.

Love this table

This plant stand saved my outdoor room and it is absolutely lovely. Now you will need another hand or two to initially get the sides on when you put it together but it was very quick easy and looks great on my patio where I am sitting more and more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this is a great quality product at a decent price. It takes about 10 minutes to assemble and is presanded, no sharp or rough wood, so all you have to do is paint.

great quality for a decent price

This shelf is exactly what I was looking for!  I have a small area between wall and washer where I keep my trash can and this shelf fit perfect in there. I put a 45 gallon bucket of laundry soap on it and it holds it with no problems.   Assembly was pretty easy only 4 pieces to put together. First screw is tricky but after that it is easy. Great stand for the price!
