My container arrived without any damage and was received timely.  Upon opening the container I noticed a plastic odor but left the lid open overnight to air out and the smell was gone the next morning.   Now that I have this container I keep my Shelties pro plan dog food in this and is perfect for 6 lb bags. The other holds his Grandma Lucy's freeze dried bags of food.  
It does seem to be airtight which was the main reason for the purchase.

Just right for medium size bags of pet food and the handy flip top is easy to use.

Perfect storage solution for pet food

Very good quality materials and manufacturing. The lid is sturdy and easily clips locked.

This container is perfect for our small dogs food. We have 2 little ones that use different food, so it's handy that they stack!

I really like these; got two. I don't have much space for dog food in my small apartment, so these are perfect. They fit great in small spaces.

Holds our small bag of dog food.  Does the job but it's a cheaper quality and the seal looks to be a foam material and not rubber.

It says it holds 6 pounds of pet food but a 3.5 pound bag of Iams kibble fills it up.

Could just be a little roomer.  Can't 6lb  bag inside.

I bought the item to store dry pet food but I won't use it for that as the plastic odor is overwhelming and I don't want to taint the pet food.
