I have never purchased this brand of boots until recently and I wish I would have known how great they were I would have Bought some a long time ago.  I'm very impressed!!!  I'm very hard on shoes and especially boots and I can honestly say these boots have stood the test.  They are durable, comfortable and the price was reasonable.  I give them a 5 star. I have already went back and bought 3 more pair since I purchased my first pair.  This is my go to brand of boots now.

Just got my boots today, they are well stitched, excellent arch support in the insoles, extremely comfortable, believe I could wear them all day even to bed, well done.

Solidify your Choice

Just purchased and they feel great and look durable. I had a pair years ago and first time I've seem them since.

First appearance seem great.

Just received my boots 3 days ago.  As soon as i put them on i could tell they would be good.  Friend of mine at work told me about them.

Instant comfort!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did plenty of research and compared it to other much more expensive brands as well as others in the same price range until I decided to go with Iron & Age.  
The reviews claimed it to be comfortable right out of the box and I have to say I agree with it to some extent. 
The quality does seem to be top notch, from the sole to the insole to the soft tongue to the stitching and to the laces ! 
I have not had them for that long but I am pleased with the boots thus far. And they look good too !! 
I will update my review in a couple of months to tell you how they're holding up.

Great quality and comfort

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had these shoes before and price and style and fit were perfect.

I spent years as an ironworker, I've worked in warehouses, and now I'm a railroader. I've tried them all. This is hands down the best boot I've ever owned for the job. I spend a large portion of my work days walking several miles, sometimes 10+, on ballast. Be it in the freezing cold, scorching heat, pouring rain, ice, or snow. The deep heel is perfect for sill steps. Super light compared to other safety toe boots I've worn, even other composite toes. Super comfortable walking on uneven terrain all day. I've bought 4 pairs at this point. My one and ONLY complaint is they're not perfectly 100% waterproof. This isn't an issue for me unless it's raining super hard. That said, the waterproofing is a lot better than most other "waterproof" boots I've tried. I've found it hard to find a truly waterproof boot that meets railroad specs (safety toe, lace up only, 90 degree heel, etc).

THE Boot for a Railroader

I was wearing Red Wings and Keens before this. I work 8-12 hour shifts, on my feet, 5-6 days a week. My feet hurt quite bad due to Plantar Fasciitis. That's up until I started wearing these boots. The pain has completely disappeared ever since. I've been wearing them a little over 2 years now, pain free. I'm on my 6th pair. These boots are very comfortable and require very little break-in time, if any at all. I definitely recommend them to anybody suffering from foot pain and anybody that walks on hard surfaces all day long. However in my case the sole doesn't last very long, it's pretty soft. I go through a pair about every 4 months. For me it's worth it due to the comfort and pain relief they provide. They are waterproof and do well in the winter, but can get pretty warm in the summer. Hot enough to cause my feet to sweat profusely and turnmy feet white. They would be nearly perfect if they offered a version without the waterproof lining for use during those hot months. Other than that I love these boots and will continue using them and recommending them to others. 

FYI: I have a pair of these getting resoled right now. We'll see if they feel just a good afterwards.

Customer Service

They are not true to size. I ordered these through my job. I've had them off for hours and my feet still have red marks. Buy any other brand.
