Perfect little speaker for great price. I had a JBL Flip for 8 years and I loved it.  Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. The battery would no longer hold a charge, which put me in the market for a new speaker. I use my JBL at the beach and in the bathroom and this little gem is perfect. I can hang it out of the way. The sound quality is great with good bass sounds. The price was just right. I'm very pleased with this purchase and hope it lasts as long as my previous JBL.

For such a small speaker, the sound is surprisingly powerful. It produces clear vocals and decent bass, especially at medium volume. While it won't compete with larger speakers, it performs very well for outdoor use or casual listening.

The speaker offers up to about 12 hours of playtime, and a “Playtime Boost” mode can extend it to around 15 hours by optimizing sound settings.  ￼
In real use, battery life may be shorter if you play music at very high volume.

The most practical, portable, aesthetically pleasing speaker i've seen. Love! As an autism behavioural therapist, the durability really comes in handy. Its volume can be adjusted to be very high considering its size. And the fact, you can clip it onto tons of different areas due to its design. Plus, as a trans person, I love the pink/blue color.

Not Cheap, But Worth Every Penny! :)

The speaker quality is great, but I'm sad over the quality of the picture I had paid extra for. The picture looked poor when it came it, but I wasn't too worried about it because how good could the picture really come out on the porous surface of the speaker, fine, whatever. But now after only owning it for two weeks the picture is severely scratched up and coming off already with very simple use.

Don't pay extra for the picture personalization

I ordered a custom design clip 5 and it is the most disappointing and worst quality item I have received in a long time. They fail to mention that the custom image is an overlay on the speaker that will peel and scratch immediately. The speaker itself is great quality and works like all other JBL products but they should not be offering a custom design option that is this low quality or and should definitely put a disclaimer that the image is not durable at all. I use my speaker in my car only and after it rolled onto the floor once, pieces of the image scraped off. Very disappointing.

Good speaker but custom design is terrible
