Sounds is impressive with clear vocals and thumping bass.  I will buy another to stereo sound ame write another review.

No need for two speakers, but the sound may be perfect with atereo aound.

The bsss sounds great

Purchased this  Bluetooth speaker for my son as a gift. My son absolutely loves it and takes the speaker with him everywhere. It small enough to carry in a bag. The sound is unbelievable. This is a very good product.

Great Bluetooth speaker

When you are no longer with the stereo system and you want something much bigger than a phone speaker, this is the item for you. I couldn’t believe the amount of base that came out of this little tiny speaker

Awesome speaker!!! Was smaller then expected but sound quality is amazing and way louder then I thought it would be. Works great at my gym at work and stores easily in my locker without taken up to much space.

We got one of these on a whim and use it all the time.  The sound quality, durability, and ease of use are outstanding.  Great speaker for anywhere.  We use ours most in the back yard, at the beach, at camp, and even around the house sometimes.  Great speaker.

Love it even more than we thought we would

I would not pay $200 so definitely get it on sale. I paid $130. Out of the box it sounds noticeably louder and crisper than my Charge 5. The bass is punchy. The app on your phone can connect multiple speakers to the same music and has nice EQ with some presets. Nothing too fancy in the app but you can change the name of the speaker, the way it shows up when searching for Bluetooth devices. 

Overall, it's a direct upgrade from the previous generation. The base of it has some better designed rubber grips (the rubbers on the bottom of my Charge 5 have mostly been torn to shreds and fallen off in pieces). The handle is neat. 

I guess the real test is the durability test. My Charge 5 has seen consistent use for about 7 years so I'm curious to see how this one performs over the years.

Upgrade

I have really received what I need. The sound quality and the size of the speaker will amaze you. It looks small by size but you will be surprised by the sound it produces. I argue if you want vibrant sound with small sized speakers go for JBL charge 6 you won't regret

Bought for my son- he says Great speaker, definitely get the Charger 6 over the less expensive 5!!!! 
Debated the Charger 6 vs. Turtlebox ranger and for us the battery life and better quality sound over a range of music with this speaker outweighed shear volume and base of the ranger. The volume of the Charger 6 is great- we have no regrets w/ our choice!!! We can Bluetooth multiple JBL speakers together should we need volume covering a larger area- though we have not had the need thus far. 
It’s time to replace my OLD original Charger 1 (from 2014-ish, 12yrs old %26  still working. I dropped it on its end andI fixed it but there’s a rattle w/ base now)-  I’ll be replacing with this Charger 6!

Great speaker! I recommend JBL Charger 6

Purchased this JBL Charge 6 portable for the reason of sound quality and ability to change the sound reproduction to my liking even though the JBL sound feature is not bad either. I already had a JBL Charge 5. I like that the new Charge 6 has a convenient handle application the others don't have. That honestly became my buying point because now I can literally scooter around with all the sound I can think of exposing the world to as I ride by. If I could get a better deal gor another 1 or 2 I would be willing to utilize the Auracast for pairing with other compatible JBL speakers. That way I can get a surround type setting as I again roll through the neighborhoods I cruise through.  It's a nice set up cool features. Only slight issue I encountered from the onset of opening the package/ box was that it didn't and doesn't come with a charge cable for this application. You'd think after spending $220.00 agter taxes that you could eventually charge your speaker unit and my have to utilize existing cables due to a cable not being supplied.  Other than that if you're going to buy this speaker application and not have an issue by it not having a charging cable to do it's job, then get it because this JBL product feels like it will break the concrete. ( Reference to LL Cool J's I can't live without my radio line even though he mentions a different brand. ) Still the reference resonates just like the music that plays through those internal speakers.

My JBL breaks the concrete

I purchased the JBL Charge 6 portable Bluetooth speaker expecting a premium product, but I was really disappointed. The sound quality is solid, but JBL made the baffling decision not to include a USB-C charging cable in the box. Nearly every competitor, including Bose portable speakers, provides a cable – and often delivers even better sound at a lower price.

Yes, I have extra USB-C cords at home, but leaving one out of a $200 speaker feels like an intentional upsell tactic rather than customer convenience. Even the most basic and budget Bluetooth speakers include a charging cable.

For shoppers comparing JBL vs Bose, I recommend going with Bose – or really any brand that provides the essential accessories you need. You’ll get superior audio, better value, and a complete package. This experience has turned me away from JBL, and I won’t be purchasing their products again.

To make matters worse, JBL buries the disclaimer in the fine print on the back of the box: “charging cable not included” is buried at the bottom of the packaging. It feels misleading for such an established brand.

Considering Harman International (the Samsung subsidiary that owns JBL) reported about $10.5 billion in revenue in 2024, surely they can afford to include a basic USB-C charging cable with all their products.
